Tl* the contact owns a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country. While driving at night on an unlite road, the headlamps failed to illuminate the roadway sufficiently. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was concerned that there was an object inside of the headlamp that prohibited the proper projection of the headlamp beam. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 500. Consumer stated low beam light only gives 20 yd of light on unlite roads. Updated 8/8/18
Headlights keep going out. I've had both low beam headlights replaced twice in less than 3 months. High beams, signal, parking lights all work as they should. I took it to a shop and they said the HID headlight ballast needed replaced. No power going to low beams. Had it replaced and lights worked fine for about 2 months. Now I'm having the same problem again. I just bought the van in July. I've searched the problem and this seems to be a recurring issue with this model.
The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated while reversing from his garage, his wife notified him that the rear driver's side taillight and the license plate light bulb were not illuminated. The contact stated that there was no warning light illuminated. The contact also stated that the front driver's side light was not illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic and replaced the M17 fuse. The contact stated that the failure recurred, and the fuse was replaced twenty times. The contact called and made the local dealer aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 102,000.
Since I bought this vehicle from A from a used dealer as is, the passenger restraint indicator on the dashboard comes on and off, the tire pressure warning indicator, even after proper inflation will not turn off and the passenger head restraint popped out forward almost a year ago.
Right headlight stopped working, tried replacing bulb, but still did not work. One year before Bettenhausen Chrysler had replaced bulb in April 2021. July 20, 2022, I took the car in to Bettenhausen and they fixed the light, but wanted to charge almost $2,000. I had a Mopar 10% off coupon, which brought the cost to nearly $1,700 that I had to pay. Having working headlights is a legal & safety requirement after dawn and during rain, otherwise a driver can be ticketed. Headlights have been on cars for over 100 years, have not had this kind of problem and expense. Chrysler designed the headlight operation so technically complicated and epensive that defies logic. My vehicle only has about 70,000 miles on it. This is a failure of Chrysler, and I should get a full reimbursement. …
Tl* the contact owns a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country. While driving 45 MPH, the headlights and interior lighting failed to illuminate. In addition, the brake pedal was depressed, but failed to engage. As a result, the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained injuries to the ribs, lungs, and knees that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and diagnosed, but the cause of the failure was not determined; however, the vehicle was repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated that the vehicle lane departure system, navigational system, and the rear back up camera failed. A few weeks later, the contact noticed smoke coming from the rear passenger side tail light. The vehicle was taken to kimberly car city (625 w kimberly road, davenport, ia 52806, [phone]) where it was diagnosed that the rear bumper, modules, and wiring harness caught fire due to water exposure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. A Chrysler engineer inspected the vehicle and concluded that the failure was not due to a manufacturer defect. The manufacturer provided case number: cair31876429. The failure mileage was 83,000.
