What owners report
The jeep is towed behind our camper. When the camper truck turns, the wheels on the jeep stay straight and drag the jeep through the turn sideways. On a highway off ramp with a curve at higher speed the jeep wants to pull the camper off the edge. Lane assist is off but I was forced to pick something below. The issue is with the jeep steering not tracking behind the camper causing a hazardous condition going on curves. The wheels turn with the steering wheel but not when being towed. All procedures to flat tow are being followed per the owners manual. There is a technical service bulletin published in May 2025 by Chrysler about "dragging" tires and it is not resolved.
blackout on the radio cluster, and dashboard instrument cluster intermittently goes completely black while I am driving and sometimes it just keep blinking off and on. front driver side tire when I turn it feels like theirs something wrong with the front and while turning the driver side rear tire sounds like it's dragging or constantly on gravel. while driving, the vehicle intermittently displays a traction light even though i'm just driving on the highway and straight paved roads that it doesn't need traction on.

The dealer informed the contact that the battery was low and that the light had been replaced, while also informing the contact that the vehicle had experienced difficulty starting prior to purchase. Days later, upon starting the vehicle, all warning lights illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, but the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure, cleared the codes, and returned the vehicle; however, the failure recurred. While driving, the steering wheel became inoperable, causing the driver to lose steering control, and the vehicle crashed into a Ford Mustang. A red steering warning light illuminated. A police report was filed. …

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the vehicle swayed from side to side without warning while driving at highway speeds, and the contact lost control of the vehicle. Upon a dealer inspection, the rear passenger's side knuckle assembly bolt was found to be snapped, resulting in damages to the front suspension bushing. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V132000 (Suspension, Steering); and the manufacturer stated that the VIN was not included in the recall and directed the contact to file a report with the NHTSA Hotline. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
Went to turn left at barely 5mph and steering locked up with my front wheels pushed outside of wheel well (driver wheel, passenger is facing in), causing a collision. Steering wheel won't turn at all now.
The electrical system of this vehicle is causing several issues putting the safety of me, my passengers and drivers around me at risk. Starting at 6,300 miles the vehicle had a temporary loss of power steering. After parking for a day the power steering returned, leading me to believe it was caused by an electrical/software code issue. There was a safety recall for the battery pack starting on fire while parked, driving or charging. No fix was available for quite a while and I could not charge the car or park in the garage. Shortly after having the computer updated to stop it from spontaneously catching fire I have been getting a warning light saying to maintenance the hybrid system, and is accompanied with a momentary loss of propulsion. This happens without warning every 150 miles or so. …
