What owners report

All four tires on my 2025 Toyota Tundra experienced severe and abnormal outside edge wear at approximately 13,000 miles. The vehicle was purchased new and maintained according to manufacturer recommendations, including tire rotations every 5,000 miles at authorized Toyota dealerships. An authorized Toyota dealership inspected the vehicle, documented the abnormal tire wear, and performed alignment measurements. The dealership issued a written recommendation stating that a four-wheel alignment was needed to extend tire life and/or correct drivability concerns. Alignment measurements showed values outside specification. The tire manufacturer reviewed photos and documentation and confirmed the wear pattern is caused by vehicle alignment and not a tire manufacturing defect. …

2025 Tundra · Dec 2025

All four tires are wearing unevenly. The outside of the tires are worn down much more than the middle and inside edge of tires. I noticed this six months ago, have called Toyota and brought the truck to the dealership and they stated there is no issue. I had the exact same Make/Model/Trim (3rd Generation Tundra TRD Pro) from 2022, and the tires wore out in the exact same manner. A safety recall was issued for this and all four tires were replaced and the alignment was adjusted to a "new standard" because it was determined that on this trim level, the original factory alignment was incorrect. This issue still hasn't been resolved as it is happening the exact same on the 2025 as it did on previous model years of the same trim. Toyota and dealership both refuse to even consider that this may be the same issue requiring a recall and replacement of tires and proper alignment. …

Cannot find the correct tire size in the drop-down. But these tires are Bridgestone Dueler H/T 265/60/20 685. These tires are extremely unstable on this vehicle going any rate of speed on the highway with rigid surface. The vehicle sways back-and-forth as if it was on ice and has a little to no control road conditions are clear when this happens. Even worse when it rains I want to take the vehicle on the highway. I believe due to the gap of the tread pattern. They are catching on the grooves and throw the vehicle back-and-forth dangerously. I had also had a trailer that weighed an estimate of 8500 pounds with the tires, and was worse as the trailer would fishtail tire pressure is at factory recommendation as well. These tires need to be reevaluated and does not belong on this type of vehicle. There are no warning lamps that come on other than a very unstable ride. …

Tire size 265/60R20. All tires have cracked around the bead of the rim. This was discovered at 24,663 miles during regularly scheduled maintenance at Copeland Toyota in Brockton, MA on March 20, 2025. Defective manufacturing suspected. Upon further investigation of this tire model on the Internet, I discovered dozens of reports of the same sidewall failure by Toyota Tundra owners with very low mileage. I contacted Bridgestone Support on March 20, and per their instruction, took the vehicle to a Bridgestone authorized dealer (Firestone Complete Auto Care, Warren Ave. Brockton, MA) on March 21. The inspection determined that the tires have failed. The technician indicated that Bridgestone has very limited inventory of this tire model, indicative that the tire is being discontinued. …
