2007 Toyota Tundra v-8, 5.7 l. 4 lo light blinks, vsc light blink, check engine light on continuously all three of these lights are coming on. I can take my battery off and they reset. Per Toyota disconnect battery and it will re set. The truck will kick you down to 40 MPH or slower when this happens even if you are running 60 at the time. Was told the problem was my secondary air intake. And a tire sensor problem. But that doesn't explain the sudden surges in motor or dieing for no reason. Talked with Toyota and they said they would fix it. To date not done. This has happened for the past 2 months. Have to disconnect my battery several times a day just to drive my truck. I have almost been hit more than 3 times due to this problem. Went to pull out to cross 3 lanes of traffic and it kicked down, had the gas pedal floored and the truck would barely move. …

I have a 2007 Tundra that has been modified by the dealer I.e. 3 inch lift they refuse to provide me the details of the lift on the truck even though I have repeatedly complained. I first thought that it was part of the recall, so I made a complaint to Toyota. The manager of the auto repair portion of the dealership contacted and tried to explain to me that what was happening to the truck was not part of the recall. I then did research on my own after discussing the issue with their repair shop at stevens creek Toyota. What is happening is the tire pressure monitoring system alarm light is coming on the dash and stays on. This happened three times since I bought the truck. I am upset that the manager told me this was normal. It is not, it also affects how the truck drives once the light comes on the dash. It affects the pedal which can stick and you loose control of the truck. …

I bought my 2007 Tundra 6/30/2007 ran great until around 18,500 mi. At that time the transmission started making a banging noise which it felt like the 05 4 runner. The 4 runner still does it but it runs and drives fine. The Tundra is getting really bad as it is grinding and banging. I have been in contact with Toyota from my area and they keep saying I have to bring it in to have it checked. I have had several appointments and they usually call and cancel the appointment. I contacted different corporate exc's and one from california called and made an app. And I was there for it. I waited for 1 1/2 hours and the rep didn't show. I am now going to send mr.akio toyoda, president of Toyota a certified letter. …

Vehicle front end vibrates at speeds between 60 and 70 MPH. There is sever steering wheel vibration. The front tires are showing wear the out side portion of the tire. The OEM tires lasted 15,000 miles. I am now on a new set of tires that are exhibiting the same type of uneven tire wear. 1. Took the car to the dealer a minimum of four times to review the situation. 2. Had an independent automotive repair shop look at the problem. 3. Both the dealer ship and the automotive repair shop agree there is a vibration issue. 4. The dealer claims the issue is with the tire balance. They have "road force balanced the tires". 5. This has not solved the issue and the steering wheel vibration continues to occur. At times the vibration is very sever and other times the vibration is non existent.
