My jeep Cherokee have a 4wd warning indication services need. It automatically shifts my power train to snow. Also when in park. The vehicle starts to go to neutral. Please recall this. My car is 2015 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk. I've never had an accident and this is either a system glitch or engine issue that can cause damage and injury.
Three of the four tires on the vehicle are splitting on the sidewalk near the rim. The fourth tire is cracking in the same location. All tires are maintained at the correct tire pressure. There's no reason this shouldn't be covered but of course it isn't. Guess someone has to die before Firestone replaces defective tires.
1 - Two piece lug bolts, swollen due to poor design, causing unsafe conditions rendering OEM provided tools unusable to conduct emergency roadside tire change/repair. 2 - UCONNECT emergency vehicle connectivity not maintained by manufacturer after 3G network retired, rendering installed safety equipment inoperable.
The lug nuts have continued to swell over time. They have either fallen off or become close to impossible to remove for the dealer. Dealer stated that it is a known issue, but an official recall has not been executed yet.
-transmission sporadically slams into gear while changing gears. Feels like you got rear-ended. -Issues with front drivers side metal grinding noise.... Had it fixed @ the dealership.... 6 months later it's back.
A car turned left as I was going straight and struck me at the front left side of the vehicle. The impact broke my tired completely off the vehicle smashing both the front and the entire side of my car with enough damage for me to have to kick my door multiple times in order to exit the car. After the first impact I lost control since a tire was missing and the vehicle hit a semi truck head on. No air bags deployed. Car is totaled and has frame damage. I contacted Jeep and they have since done an investigation and told me I was not going fast enough for air bags to deploy and are now not returning my calls. When the investigator called me after he inspected the vehicle he was shocked that I said the car was totaled. The car was brand new I had it for 15 days. …
wheels locked up, unable to stop car. wheels were not turning during accelerator and car would not come to a stop when braking as tires were just sliding and skidding on road. could not change gears
I have warning lights keep flashing out of control 3 lights keep staying on that is tire pressure system and check engine and start stop system , put a code reader on vehicle and it says transmission module my car will rev up while I n gear hesitate and then jerk real fast and start going super fast without my foot on gas. When I shift the gears into reverse from park or put in park it makes a loud clunk noise and shifts hard. Also the tailgate when opening will open up and immediately shut on me and has hit my head a few times and tried shutting with me in the way. I've reported problems to the dealership several times they send me to a dealership for Jeep and they tell me battery needs reset and sent me on my way and I asked to have transmission looked at and they have no transmission tech. …
When downshifting from 3rd to 2nd to 1st at an intersection, the transmission skips 2nd gear and finally drops into 1st at about 1-2 MPH. If I accelerate prior to coming to a full stop, the transmission is in 3rd gear and has insufficient power to avoid a collision. The transmission also causes a dangerous problem when shifting from reverse into forward. Numerous times there is a sharp jerk which causes me to concentrate on retaining control of the car and losing awareness of my surroundings. This car is also well know for having an extreme wobble when pulled behind an rv - which is what I purchased it for. I haven't experienced the wobble yet as I haven't hooked up my Cherokee waiting for Chrysler to resolve the very dangerous wobble problem. All of the problems listed above occur while the vehicle is in motion - sometimes at highway speed and sometimes while driving in town.
