-Took Vehicle to Service Center, they told me to call [phone] and ask for authorization for replacement. - Its at the service center for Larry Miller Chrysler, so I am not sure why they are not calling to get approvals. The seatbelt should never have unraveled or torn, they keep saying my warranty just expired, but this is a factory issue, no seatbelt should be tearing every and I have had the car for 3 years now. My concern has nothing to do with the safety recall, this is a separate issue. My seatbelt on the driver side has began unraveling, Ive been driving since 16 teen and never saw this before. I went to buckle my seatbelt about a week agao from 10/14/2024 and it would not pull through and I notice it was actually torn in half to the middle mark of the canvas belt. This is a FYI, i have taken it to dealership, they are looking it over. …
Chrysler 300 2021 Vehicle keeps stalling, turning off while driving or if stopped at light or stop sign to loan just shuts random times and not Al way but enough to be dangerous when it stalls on freeway or in traffic Seat belt Driver seat belt just broke, split in half- safety issue. They replaced it but the metal seems to cut the seat belt and it probably will happen again Safety recall on Takata airbag, after replaced-air conditioning stopped working very concerning
Back left indicator blinks about four times then acts as if lamp is blown. Turn car off and start later indicator works but then after 4 blinks is out again. Replaced lamp. System still has electrical malfunction. Seat belts shoulder harness in all back seats inertia locks do not operate in emergency stops. My children flew forward with their car seats when a car ran a stop sign and I locked the breaks to avoid a collision.
Passenger airbg signal randomly goes on and off whether a passenger is in the seat or not. Service transmission soon signal goes on and off since 28,000. Backup camera replaced but still doesnt work every time. Been in shop 6 times in last couple of months. In there now because I complained to Chrysler.
I was in an accident with my son as the passenger. We were traveling at 55mph when a vehicle pulled out in front of me. I never hit brake as there was no time...we drove through the front of his car. Impact was so hard his radiator was shifted to the left side of his car. My son bore the brunt of the impact as the hit was on the passenger side. None of the air bags went off nor did his seat belt tighten. He hit his shoulder on the side window and cracked it. I know in 2012 and 2014 Chrysler had issues with air bag inflators and seat belt tension devices on the 300 model.

As a result, the contact's father could not gain control of the vehicle and crashed into three other parked vehicle's. No warning lights illuminated. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact's mother was on the passenger side and sustained injury to her legs and the chest. Medical attention was required. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. …
While parked in my drive way, about to leave for work, discovered the seat belt latch would not work. The internal mechanisms of the seat belt latch malfunctioned and would not allow the belt to be latched. Personally disassembled the latch and discovered the spring had disengaged from the metal lock that catches the hole on the male end of the belt. Because of this, some of the components had shifted around inside completely disabling the catching mechanism from moving. Hadn't noticed any issues prior to the latch becoming inoperable. The latch that broke was on the drivers seat. Found a used latch from a junk yard and replaced it. I currently am still in possession of the old seat belt latch.
Tl* the contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. While the vehicle was stationary and while driving various speeds, the air bag indicator illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent. Ewald Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in franklin, wisconsin was made aware of the failure and replaced the seat belt pretensioners in February of 2017; however, the failure recurred. Upon a second assessment, the dealer stated that the wiring harness was faulty in the driver' s seat of the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
