What owners report
The air conditioning/climate control system failed. I initially brought the vehicle to the dealership on June 4, 2026, because it was blowing hot air. The dealership replaced the condenser on June 5, 2026. On June 12, 2026, the driver's side again began blowing hot air while the passenger side remained cold. By June 13, 2026, both sides were blowing hot air. The vehicle is being returned to the dealership on June 15, 2026, for an additional repair attempt related to the recurring air conditioning failure. The excessive heat created a safety concern because the cabin temperature exceeded 100 F despite the air conditioning being turned on. I developed hives and a rash on my face, neck, trunk, and arms from the heat exposure. Excessive cabin temperatures can impair driver concentration and increase the risk of heat-related illness. ON JUNE 2ND 2026, the air conditioning in my 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe failed without warning. The system began blowing warm air instead of cold air, making the vehicle uncomfortable to drive. At the same time, I noticed that both front ventilated (cooled) seats had also stopped working. Although the seat cooling indicator lights illuminated when activated, the seats did not produce any cooling. I called to schedule an appt and took the vehicle to the dealership for diagnosis and repair on june 4, 2026. The dealership determined that the A/C condenser had failed and replaced it. I was advised that the repair had been completed, and I picked up the vehicle believing the issue had been resolved. Shortly after the repair, it became apparent that the problems had not been fully corrected. …
The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stopped at a traffic light, and the engine unexpectedly shut off while the brake pedal was depressed. The transmission inadvertently shifted to neutral(N). The message to "Push Start to Start Engine" was displayed. The contact's husband pressed the Auto Start/Stop button, but the engine failed to start. The contact's husband then shifted the transmission to park (P), pressed the Auto Start/Stop button again, and the engine restarted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 700.

The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that soon after purchasing the vehicle, the vehicle's lane assist feature would be active with no other vehicles in the contact vehicle's vicinity. The contact also stated that multiple other electrical defects would occur such as the backup camera activating while in drive(D), the instrument panel intermittently going blank, and various other defects. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on multiple occasions where they failed to duplicate the failure. The contact then stated that while driving at 80 MPH, the instrument panel went blank. The contact attempted to pull the vehicle over; however, an unknown turn-off of the vehicle warning message appeared on the instrument panel as a warning chime was also emitted from the vehicle. …
My 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe LS has experienced repeated service issues within the first year of ownership. The vehicle has been in the repair shop five separate times and out of service for approximately five months total. Due to extended repair periods, the mileage remains extremely low. A primary concern involved the steering system. The steering wheel was noticeably off-center while driving straight, requiring continuous correction to maintain proper lane position. Steering-related components were inspected and replaced. There were no warning lights present at the time. However, improper steering alignment raised safety concerns regarding vehicle tracking and stability. The vehicle has been inspected and repaired by authorized service providers. I am submitting this complaint to determine whether this reflects a broader safety-related issue with this model year.
The contact owned a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the center console armrest suddenly burst into flames. The contact was able to pull to the shoulder of the roadway and evacuate the vehicle. Within moments, the front end of the vehicle became engulfed in flames. The air bags did deploy. Local emergency services were able to extinguish the flames but did not investigate the cause of the fire. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard and deemed a total loss by the contact's insurance provider. A fire report was filed. A police report was filed, and injuries were reported. The contact transported himself to an area hospital and was treated for a second-degree burn to his left pinky finger. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. …
