Urgent Attention Needed for Chevy 2017 Tahoe Safety Concern The Chevy 2017 Tahoe is presenting a critical safety issue with the recurring error message "Trailer Brake System" on the dashboard. This leads to a complete shutdown of the vehicle and loss of control at random intervals, posing a severe danger, especially on high-speed roads and highways. Despite attempting repairs, including replacing the controller module, plug adapter, and trailer brake switch, the issue persists. This widespread problem, affecting many users, indicates a potential manufactured defect demanding immediate attention and a recall. It is crucial to address this matter promptly due to its hazardous nature, even for those who do not use a trailer. The safety of vehicle occupants is at stake, and urgent action is required to rectify this concerning issue.
They radio screen and radio navigation system. It will run batteries down replaced 2 Batteries this year. Radio goes haywire changes channels, makes dinging sound, navigation goes off. Screen moves jumps changes volume. Hard to drive very distracting and navigation stops working. None of this will stop until the vehicle is turned off and generally on restart it starts back up. Makes for very unsafe driving distraction. It started about a year ago it would happen occasionally now it's every time you start the vehicle and drive. The constant noise and movement is again unsafe distracting and disrupts driving and anyone trying to have a conversation in my vehicle. Very very unsafe...

Constantly hearing the beeping over and over .

The Trailer Brake System light repeatedly came on 13SEP2022 and continues to alert you while driving with alerting sound. It also is causing my SUV not to start properly and causing voltage shortage issues.
On 05/12/22, Service Trailer brake system warning alerts came on. Simply driving my Tahoe doing approximately 30 mph. We were not towing. It did it non stop for the full 30 miles home chiming and Blinking.
The system that I believe to be failing has to do with electrical components of the 2017 Chevy Tahoe. It has completely lost all power two times while driving this vehicle. In both instances, mine & my children's lives were at risk including those who could have hit us. If anyone had been behind me as I was turning and the car shut off mid turn, it's possible we could have been hit by a vehicle(s) going 50+ mph. It's available to you to be inspected if needed. The vehicle has been evaluated by a mechanic who says he cannot find any specific 'problem' but did have to turn off multiple error codes. The chevy dealership thinks it may have to do with the remote start antenna. This has not been reproduced by a dealer or service center but it has been reproduced by myself when I attempted to drive the car again after the error codes were turned off. …
