My 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe LS has experienced repeated service issues within the first year of ownership. The vehicle has been in the repair shop five separate times and out of service for approximately five months total. Due to extended repair periods, the mileage remains extremely low. A primary concern involved the steering system. The steering wheel was noticeably off-center while driving straight, requiring continuous correction to maintain proper lane position. Steering-related components were inspected and replaced. There were no warning lights present at the time. However, improper steering alignment raised safety concerns regarding vehicle tracking and stability. The vehicle has been inspected and repaired by authorized service providers. I am submitting this complaint to determine whether this reflects a broader safety-related issue with this model year.

The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speed, the "service safety restraint system", warning message appeared on the instrument panel. The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at 55 MPH, the "No Key Detected" message displayed. The key fob battery was replaced; however, the failure persisted, stranding the contact and child on the road. The contact disconnected and reconnected the vehicle battery to resolve the failure, based on a parent's experience with the identical failure in a 2022 Chevrolet Suburban. Prior to the failure, the front windshield wipers activated independently after starting the vehicle, and the infotainment screen went blank while coming to a stop. The manufacturer was notified of the failure by telephone. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.

Bought new and there was a brake pad sensor message immediately that we took it to the dealer several times for and nothing was done other than clearing the code and giving it back. Was in accident 1/24 and it was found that there was a frayed/damaged wire in the break module and break pad sensor that I feel could have led to the accident

I've had my 2023 Tahoe for 15 months, purchased Dec. 2023 Issue #1. Dash message on start up " Restraint System Needs Service". I noticed small lights overhead (buttons for tail gate, sun roof, reading lamps) were off. I pressed some of them, and dash message went away, and lights came on. Everything worked fine. I've narrowed it down to the passenger side reading light. When dash warning comes on, I press reading light, and whalla! all works fine. This has happened about 6 times over the last year. Issue #2. After driving many hours (9 hr drive, then a 2hr drive, then 4hr hr drive on different days/nights) in rain with wipers in auto mode, using defrost on and off as needed. Suddenly, wipers stop working as well as headlights in auto mode! Scary. Pulled over and waited with engine off. Restarted and still nothing. I was able to use headlights in full ON mode. …

I am writing to express my deep frustration with a recent issue I have encountered with my brand new 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe (VIN: [redacted] ). Following the expiration of my complimentary OnStar subscription, I discovered that all voice-activated and Bluetooth functions are inoperable unless I purchase a separate wireless plan at $25 / month which I cannot afford. This is a stark contrast to my previous six Chevrolets, all of which allowed hands-free phone calls and navigation functionalities via Bluetooth without requiring an additional subscription. I have contacted two Chevrolet dealerships, spoken with numerous employees, and reached out to OnStar, spending a total of nearly two hours on the phone attempting to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, no solution has been found. My primary concern is safety. …

After getting gas just outside of Pueblo Colorado on [redacted] I was entering [redacted] and luckily I was in the right lane when all of a sudden no power to the vehicle. I was able to make it by inches in the clear on the shoulder of the road. Being [redacted], I had trouble crawling over the console through the passenger side of the vehicle because I could not safely see the traffic on the interstate to exit the vehicle on the driver side. The state police could not come to assist us with any type of traffic control because of other accidents. The BNSF railroad has a mutual aid pack with them when needed in an emergency situation. They were able to come assist us with the red lights for traffic control, and the tow truck arrived and was able to flatbed the vehicle to a GM Chevy dealership. The tow truck also delivered our 26 foot travel trailer to the nearby campground. …
