The vehicle associated with the subject VIN is a 2014 Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrid. The high voltage battery has deteriorated substantially from the time the car was purchased by us as a new car. Specifically, (i) the high voltage battery no longer is capable of taking a full charge; and (ii) the high voltage battery does not hold a charge. Judging from (i) the car's dashboard gauge indicating level of charge; (ii) the dashboard gauge indicating miles of EV driving available; and (iii) actual miles that the car will drive in EV mode it is clear that the high voltage battery is more likely than not deteriorated to less than 50% compared to when it was new. Because the Plug-in Accord relies on the high voltage battery and can not function without the high voltage battery this level of deterioration presents a safety risk. …

My car had extended crank, shaking/jerking while driving, engine failed and cut off in traffic. Tried to restart extended crank, still shaking/jerking while driving, sparking in the engine and engine failed and cut off in traffic. I was terrified didn't know if the car was going to be on fire when I heard the spark in the engine on the highway. Not only did this failure of the part put myself in danger but others on the road in danger as well. Other drivers was trying to get around me without causing an accident especially when my car was shaking/jerking. I had my car towed to the Honda dealership service center. The technician called and told me my fuel pump had failed.

Purchased the car in August 2024 from Carvana, September the car shuts off at red light. Was told to replace the alternator. Shop replaced alternator but car still was cutting off while in parked or at complete stop. Was told to replace the battery, replaced the battery and months later car still shuts off. Had another mechanic look at it once hook up to scanner FCW light said failed system on odometer, MAF code showed on scanner. Scared to continue driving vehicle because of safety reasons car is not safe. Can't return it so I'm stuck trying to figure out what could be the problem. Was told it could be electrical problem or battery sensor issue.

Jul 2021

Car has bad battery sensors. When checking the battery status, it always says the battery is in good condition but it is actually dead. The car also consistently puts out a code "P219A." Dealership suggest that fuel injectors are going bad but the fuel injectors shouldn't go bad this early.
