I am reporting that there are three things that needs to be addressed on the 2014 Honda Accord. 1. The drivers side seat, deflates and it consistantly has to be pumped back up while driving. 2. I've had to purchase (4) new car batteries for this 2014 Honda Accord that I own since I purchased it in 2016. That's unacceptable especially when there has been a recalled by Honda, on the 2016, for a battery senior issue? 3 The brakes on my 2014 Honda Accord car is most dangerous. When the brake is engaged and pressed hard, the brake fills with air and barely stops the car. I replaced the pad and rototes and it did not change a thing. Please have someone to check these things as well. I. The other Honda Accords are having issues with a Battery Senior then I am sure it's something in this 2014 that is killing my battery. …
Was hit in rear on 7/18.2020.when my head hit head rest the head rest went up to highest position. My head hit again and hit metal bars.the headrest is now stuck in highest position.I was stationary stopped at stoplight on city street
Takata recall:my car was hesitating when accelerating from a stop. I stopped and turned the car off only for about 5 minutes, I got back in, turned the car on and it wouldn't start. I was on a city st, so I walked to auto mechanic shop, got a jump, it started up after 5 to 10 minutes. The next day, the same thing happen. I called Honda, got someone to jump start the car, drove to Honda, left the car for 2 days. Honda called me stating that the battery was good, but the sensors were bad and needed to be replaced. They replaced the sensors, charged me $160. I picked up the car, drove it home, then 2 days later, the car died out again. I called Honda again, they told me to bring the car in. I got the car jumped in order to take it back to Honda. This time, I left the car there for 3 days. They told me this time that the battery was bad and wanted me to pay for a battery. …
This is a nightmare. Honda Accord 2014.last night my windows and sunroof automatically opened; there have been other random electrical problems, see below. The opening of the windows occurred during a rain storm and my brand new Honda is filled with water. The dash is blank and the phob key radio searching light is not blinking; so there was a short that caused this to happen. I will never buy a Honda again. If you are having any of the problems listed below, pay attention to them because I kept thinking they were just random little issues but they were precursors to this very big issue. My car is totaled!!! Pay attention to the small stuff and save your life and get rid of your car. My trunk randomly opened, parked and driving. My tire pressure light is always on, even after being reset and tires checked. I'd get in my car and find the sunroof partially opened over night. …
My car was parked in my driveway when I came out in the morning after a thunderstorm and the sunroof and windows were half way down, car is soaked. It's a 2014 Honda Accord and I told the dealer mechanic, they said it was my fault I must have hit the lock button on my car keypad twice, but I lock the car from the handle and leave my keys on a key ring on the wall not in my purse. He also told me water wouldn't hurt the leather seats. They didn't even help me dry my car out.this is the second time my car has done this and theirs no way to fix it, I will be trading it in on something that's not Honda before winter comes and I end up with snow in my car. If you are considering buying a Honda, don't ! I thought this wouldn't happen to me, that it was few and far between but it did happen, twice!
The backup camera display has a black screen and no image of what's behind the vehicle. Sometimes it comes back on but is fuzzy and blurry. It then goes back to black. In both cases the rear back up camera feature is useless and causing a safety hazard for the driver. Additionally the seat memory feature has gone out as well. It no longer remembers the location for driver 1 or driver 2. The movement of the driver's seat is also affected and does not move continuously when the controls are engaged. This affects the safety of the driver and proper seat location and viewpoint.
Head restraint holds head down in uncomfortable position causing neck pain. Seat back and lumbar support are poor causing back pain. Seat base is extremely hard and causes pain and pressure on legs, butt and back. Legs go numb causing safety concerns. More than 30 minutes driving causes sever back, neck and leg pain.
Have had problem with driver seat/housing falling apart. Have taken it to dealer twice and it's happened again for the third time. The first time it happened was when the car was under a year old. The second time it was some parts that were replace. Well it has fallen apart again.
So disappointed with the seat covers on my Honda Accord! This is the 4th Honda that I own and none have had such wear and tear as the 2014!!! Even after 10 years of use on all of them, they were in better shape than the 2014 after 2 years of use
Dear sir or madam, I would like to lodge a complaint against the current headrests in the 2014 Honda Accord (and many similar sedans.) I am 5 foot 3 and can't sit in the seat for more than 10 minutes without experiencing neck pain. The headrest angle is too far forward and does not align with my spine. It pushes my head forward. It becomes very painful over time, and no seat adjustment can make it better. Honda and other ar companies tell me that the NHTSA requires that they install headrests at this angle to achieve the highest safety rating. But what good is that if the driver and passengers are in pain? I realize that this angle May work for people taller than me, but there are a lot of people between 5 feet and 5'5 and the car companies need the ability to make adjustable headrests, or selectable headrests without jeopardizing their safety ratings. …
