My 2022 GMC YUKON DENALI has been at dealership multiple time for defective air ride suspension. The message says "service leveling system" once that show's it's a matter of time the vehicle will slump down. The passenger side air bag keeps busting creating a safety hazard for my family and others on the highway. When problem occurs the vehicle slumps down on front suspension and will bounce out of control when driving on highways and over bridges. It has now been in shop 4 times for the same problem. Dealership has been extremely helpful on trying to fix the problem, but there's definitely something serious going on and GM needs to look into making this right before someone get's hurt driving this vehicle.

I was driving a 2018 GMC Yukon denali, braking/slowed to about 8 MPH for traffic jam, when rear ended at approximately 55 MPH by a 2000 Buick lesabre. Rear end collision launched my 2018 GMC Yukon denali, at approximately 45 MPH into stopped vehicle ahead of me, a 2010 Jeep commander which was completely stopped in traffic. Jeep commander was propelled into 2015 Nissan xterra, also stopped in traffic. None of the airbags in my 2018 GMC Yukon denali deployed either in the rear end impact, nor the front impact of my vehicle hitting the Jeep commander. Accident was on Sunday, 04-21-2019 at approximately 01:30 pm mst. Skies were partly sunny and road had minimal wet area from earlier sun shower. Airbags should have deployed in both collisions, yet did not. I am extremely agitated about my airbags not deploying

Desiccated Air Bag Inflator Rupture

NHTSA investigation EA21002 · opened Sep 17, 2021 · open

From 2000 through 2017, Takata produced millions of air bag inflators using two types of phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate ("PSAN") propellant -- propellant 2004 and propellant 2004L. After prolonged exposure to high temperature cycles and humidity, inflators using propellant 2004 can degrade, causing the propellant to burn too quickly when ignited.
