The yellow air bag light remains on constantly, indicating that there is an air bag malfunction. I believe there was an airbag recall on this vehicle, but I don't remember since I had five cars at one time.

I've had my vehicle since October 2015, my vehicle takes to long to stop while driving. The distance between car can be far but car still won't stop. I have had 2 accidents in this vehicle because of this. It's like the car is glides and you have to put excessive force on brake to get vehicle to stop. You can also be completely stopped at a light and the car will lightly glide but to the point u don't notice the car is moving. The 1st accident the airbag deployed I wasn't even doing 2 MPH. I was sitting in traffic with foot on brake and car glided. Miles at time was less than 50,000.

Desiccated Air Bag Inflator Rupture

NHTSA investigation EA21002 · opened Sep 17, 2021 · open

From 2000 through 2017, Takata produced millions of air bag inflators using two types of phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate ("PSAN") propellant -- propellant 2004 and propellant 2004L. After prolonged exposure to high temperature cycles and humidity, inflators using propellant 2004 can degrade, causing the propellant to burn too quickly when ignited.
