What owners report
Vehicle was rear ended while at a complete stop. Upon impact, both front seat backs snapped and collapsed backwards, causing the driver to fall backwards;his foot slipping off the brake pedal. Vehicle careened across the street onto a field 150 foot away. Driver was not injured. However, the passenger was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
While driving 20 MPH another vehicle rearended consumer's vehicle pushing vehicle forward, driver's seat broke, and driver fell backwards. If child was in car seat driver's seat would have fallen on top of child's legs. Chrsyler has been notified. Please provide further information.
While driving 72 MPH, the driver's seat back collapsed backward, almost hitting the floor, because both rear seats were removed to carry cargo. The driver barely kept a grip on the steering and pulled himself up and was able to maintain control of the van. The driver removed the side panel of the seat and noticed that a plastic piece inside the panel had broke. The dealership has been contacted. The cause of piece breaking has yet to determined. The following day when the emergency parking brakes was disengaged, the lever broke off in the consumer's hand.
Consumer was involved in a 35 t0 40 MPH frontal collision in which driver's and passenger's air bags did not deploy. Also, upon impact, both rear seats broke away from the seat tracks which caused a child to be nearly thrown from vehicle.
The rear passenger seats do not come with head rests. I feel this should be a safety feature not a luxury item. The head rest in the rear seats should be included the basic package, not a part that has to be purchased separately. Also, our salesperson should have mentioned to us that this part of the car was not included, after all it is a family minivan.
When vehicle was reared ended at a complete stop, driver's seat and passenger's seats reclined. Manufacturer stated that the seats were designed that way. Seats will be repaired. Please provide any further information.
Consumer has leg cramps due to the design of the seats in his vehicle. The seat does not come out to legs when sitting. Consumer feels like he is holding the seat up when driving. After driving 20 miles legs will cramp because there's no support underneath knees. And if he puts the back of seat up, he looses 3-to-4 inches because the back comes over the seat itself.
Consumer was rear-ended by another vehicle while stopped. Other vehicle was traveling approximately 45mph. The collision caused consumer's vehicle to hit another car in front. The front driver and passenger seats collapsed backward.
