Pulling out of a dollar general store was hit by a truck causing sever vehicle damage. Air bags and collision avoidance did not work. Engine did not shut down was still running after collision, no warning lights came on. I had to shut the car off. Could not move the car frame was broken. Called nissain a couple of times was told a rep would look at it but it could take up to 6 weeks never got a follow up call. Hit my head on the steering wheel.Have not contacted a lawyer as of yet
The Body Control Module System goes to sleep intermittently. Nissan reports that it is a manufacturer error but Nissan has 0 fixes or recommendations. They refuse to buy the car back. The BCM system is a safety hazard as my lights don't always come on and it is interconnected with other systems including the air bag system and safety restraint system. This is a huge concern to me as I don't want to have to worry if my restraints or air bags will work when needed. Also, I have had other issues related to infotainment system. It is a brand new vehicle and should not have all these issues causing me to question if I'll be safe. I have video proof of all issues.
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving into an intersection the vehicle crashed into a second vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. During the crash the frontend of the vehicle was severely damage but no air bags deployed. The contact sustained a sore neck and head ace and was treated at the hospital the following day. No injuries were reported in the second vehicle. A police report was taken at the scene and the vehicle was towed to the local collision center. The cause of the failure was not determine. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 37,000.
We were in an accident that has caused injury to the driver (fianc ) and passenger (myself). The impact was on the front driver side. No airbags deployed. No emergency braking activated or collision warning appeared. The cruise control was on, that also activates all sensors. We do not have insurance information yet, but this vehicle is most likely going to total. We have yet to receive the incident report from the police.
I was driving when I was pulled over by a police officer for speeding I was going 5 over the speed limit (Speed limit was 65). As the officer approached my vehicle, he noticed flames coming from the engine compartment before I was aware there was any issue. He immediately instructed me to exit the vehicle for my safety. After I got out, the officer attempted to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher, but the flames continued to spread despite his efforts. The fire quickly intensified, causing extensive damage to the vehicle. Emergency responders were called to the scene to extinguish the fire, but by the time the fire was under control, the vehicle had sustained severe fire damage and was no longer operable.
On June 12, 2026, while driving my 2022 Nissan Rogue on the Grand Central Expressway in New York, the engine suddenly shut down and the vehicle lost motive power in active highway traffic. The vehicle would not restart. I called 911, and police responded and protected the disabled vehicle until it could be towed to safety. I later learned the vehicle was subject to Nissan Safety Recall R25D1 / NHTSA 25V-437 involving engine bearing defects that may cause engine damage and loss of motive power. A Nissan dealer inspected the vehicle and documented that the engine would not turn over. The technician removed the oil pan, found metal debris, and determined the engine was seized. Nissan subsequently replaced the engine and turbocharger. After the replacement, I began experiencing additional problems. The vehicle hesitated during acceleration. …
