The passenger side Air Bag indicator has been on since 2019, was not aware I could report it here. I have not taken it to a Dealership because I can't afford to have it fixed. In 2018, I had to replace the CV joint and front rocker arms. A piece was cracked, and when I would turn I would hear a loud POP & TICKING sound from the front passenger side tire area. Again I paid over 1500.00 to have it repaired, I no longer have the photographs or the actual parts.

I have a 2009 Nissan Rogue and a couple years ago the passenger airbag sensor indication on the dash continually flashes and the airbag light shows it is turned off. After a lot of research it looks like this has been a problem in 2008 and 2010 Nissan Rogues and a recall was issued. The same airbags and sensors were used in the 2009 but no recall. This could be catastrophic if the vehicle was in an accident and the airbag did not deploy.

The dashboard airbag light is blinking and will not shut off. I have tried to reset it and it goes off but comes right back on. I have took it to an auto part shop for a diagnostic reading and no code comes up. I see on the internet where nissan has recalled 2008 and 2010 Rogue for this problem but not the 2009.

The passenger side airbag indicator light flashes continually on the dash and stays illuminated on the console. This same issue was recalled for the 2008 and 2010 Nissan Rogues but for some reason not the 2009. My vehicle only has 62,000 miles on it currently and this is a safety issue.

There was an accident that occurred with this car and the passenger airbag did not deploy, which could have caused a major injury to the passenger. I have noticed that this a know issue with the 2008 Nissan rouge. The airbag sensor in not working and this is extremely dangerous especially, since an accident occurred. Nissan should be responsible to fix this issue, since they know they had problems with this model the year before.

Takata recall. After the crash the airbag went out but not inflated. I was on a highway and because of a water bump the vehicle moves and crash with the highway division throwing the vehicle to the emergency lane and stoped inmediately. After that I removed very easy the airbag and walk away from the vehicle .seatbelts locked.

My 2009 Nissan Rogue has never been in an accident. Out of nowhere my passenger airbag light started to flash, I brought it in to my local mechanic who said that it was the airbag sensor underneath the passenger seat and that he was unable to do anything about it as it takes certain programming to make the airbags work appropriately. I then brought my car in to a Nissan dealer where they told me it would be $200 to hook their machine us to read the code to even begin the diagnostic process I've been told them that this is reported on line time after time again specifically on the 2008 and 2009 models and I don't feel I should have to pay for them to hook up a machine to read the diagnostic code in which I had in my hand. …

Started the vehicle one day and the airbag light on the dashboard was on. The passenger airbag indicator was also on, which indicates that said airbag is disabled but there was no one in the seat. Looking up the dashboard's airbag light flashing sequence in the service manual (one long blink followed by five quick blinks), the problem stems from the occupant classification system sensor that is embedded in the passenger seat bucket. Research shows that this is a safety component which has been in other service bulletins for various Nissan vehicles. For the Rogue, the recall campaign bulletin ntb-095d covers this exact issue but only for 2008 units. Forum posts by owners appear to indicate that many others have had this issue for vehicles not covered in said bulletin. The cost to replace the seat is around $2,000, since Nissan can not replace the sensor itself. …
