Car parked overnight outside. Temperature in low 50s. In morning, found sunroof imploded into car. Sprayed glass pieces across dash, front seats, and middle seats. Glass was in chunks, safety glass like pieces, and small shards including very fine sharp pieces. A little glass around sunroof on outside but very little - mostly into the interior.
While driving down the local road, a loud vibration from the right power sliding door can be heard.. Its very loud! It also made the gas pedal shake a little bit.. 2007 Nissan Quest s 86500 miles..drivers side window gets stuck while going up, also doors wont open all the time.
My Nissan Quest 2006 model has had the drivers side sun visor replaced 3 times. It continues to fall out of place into the drivers view. It has now happened again 4th time and hit my wife in the face while she was breaking at an intersection. It a serious safety issue if it fails and drops to restrict view while driving. Nissan and dealership are not helping reach a solution.
The windows in my 2006 Nissan Quest roll down after the car is turn off and we lock and walk away from it. It can happen at anytime and even after a few hours. When we come back our van is unlocked and windows are down. This has happened over a dozen time the first month we have had it.
I was accelrating onto an interstate highway when my windshiield cracked. There was no reason for this since no other vehicles were in the vicinity of my vehicle and the vehicle was new (1500 miles). I reported a stress fracture to the dealership where the vehicle was purchased and to the Nissan corp. Everyone I spoke with said something hit the glass and refused to correct the problem. There was no evidence of anything hitting the glass. My mechanic and an insurance investigator agreed with me. The problem remains unresolved.
Tl contact owns a 2005 Nissan Quest. The contact stated that the windows and door locks on the vehicle are defective. When he rolls up the windows, they roll back down automatically. Also, the doors do not remain locked. The dealer stated that they need to diagnose the vehicle in order to locate the cause of the failures. The contact will take the vehicle to the dealer. The current and failure mileages were 58,000.
The air bag light glitches on the dashboard, it turns on and off. The only windows that open are the front door windows, the back side windows could barely crack open && the temperature inside the vehicle "with the windows open" reach dangerously high temperatures that literally are harmful and dangerous. A family vehicle with no ability to open any window on the 2 sliding doors, can lead to very high temperatures even though the front 2 windows open is still not enough for air to reach passengers who sit in the middle-row especially passengers who sit on the 3rd row seat in the back of the van. A recall must be done to adjust the windows on both sliding doors on each side to be able to roll down the windows... The temperature trapped inside the vehicle[passengers and seats area] with all the windows open was of 99, on a regular sunny day.... …
Nissan Quest 2004 service engine soon light on and problems with steering. The service engine soon light had come on 3 times, creaking was felt in the steering wheel and or the front end, sounds were heard coming from the engine compartment, computer tire monitor indicated a flat tire and or low tire pressure during cold weather, the vehicle would run for five minutes then go up to 4 degrees higher (over inflated), when the weather was warm, the setting would then be above 40 psi which was dangerous to drive if not adjusted (incorrect results on the display), SRS light had come on after recall campaign #04V103000 was performed, driver's side power window was intermittent, sliding doors made loud bump noise when opened all the way, especially on inclines, heat outlets located on the floor behind the first row seat can't be controlled by the passenger rear controls, the dome lights were …

Vehicle description: Mini vans. These vehicles were produced with power windows that can be closed after the ignition key is turned to the "off" position and the right front (passenger) door is opened. This does not meet the requirements of FMVSS 118, "power-operated window systems."
