My Brake system was flushed but my brake light and battery and ABS LIGHT stays on flickering I was driving my vehicle at high speed and it it just stalls with no warning... I have to wait 20 mins or more before it'll start again. It has bn doing this for an entire year..driving full speed with no warning just shut down in middle of traffic
Traveling at a high speed of 75 vehicle without warning stalls can't give any gas... Will not restart to after it has sat for about 20 mins then it will start and stall out again..ABS light and brake battery light keeps jumping on and off
On April 19, 2022, I was driving home after picking up my son. The traffic was bumper to bumper. And as I sat in traffic, when I moved my foot from the brake to the accelerator, the vehicle would not move. So while sitting in traffic, and the traffic began to move, I could not move. So I turned the car off, and turned it back on, and I was able to move enough to get the vehicle on to the shoulder of traffic. My father came and changed the battery, and I was able to start the car and drive home, which was 30 minutes away. Two days later, same thing happened again. After driving the vehicle for a delivery, I was on my way to get some gas. And as I turned from one street to another, the vehicle stalled on me as I was turning slow. The vehicle would not start up at all. So I had to call a towing service to tow the vehicle home. …
I just paid my van off when I started having engine issues.at 120,000 codes read p1701 TCM wiring , p0746 pressure control solenoid , p1778 step motor , p0868 pressure control module .is it the transmission the mechanic doesnt want to touch it just wants to change the tranny . I can not afford this. I am single mom is there not someone that can rebuild them properly ???? I bought a Nissan because I thought it would last longer. I have not driven the van in 6 months its a total loss if I spend the money and it happens again then I am putting good money after bad. It's not worth anything as a down payment if I have to tow it in. Has anyone got to the bottom of this??? How I found out is that I turned onto a busy street pushed the gas it wouldnt go. The car behind me had to drive upon the curve accident narrowly avoided. This sucks
Transmissions gear slips and jerks unexpectedly. You never know when it will jerk when accelerating. Will probably need to rebuild the whole transmission that will cost plenty. Also dangerous for my family to drive.
On this date our 2007 Nissan Quest van, while stopped at a stop light surged to over 3500 rpms (this is an estimate because I did look at the rpms until after the peak of revving). I stood on the brakes and kept the van from moving into the intersection, then shoved it into neutral. The engine came back to normal RPM range. On 2/9/07 I was stopped at a stop sign and the van once again surged, this time I noted it went over 5000 rpms. I jammed on the brakes and kept it from moving into on coming traffic. I shoved it into neutral again avoiding an accident, the rpms returned to normal range. I made the dealership aware of both incidents and had it into service both times. They found nothing wrong and made no repairs. We then called Nissan customer service and lodged a complaint. A factory technician inspected the van on 3/19/07. …
On July 11,2011 I was traveling in my 2006 Nissan Quest minivan with my two children from my home in harwich, ma to my parent's home in ashford, ct. At about 1 pm on a dry road, while traveling at about 65mph on ma route 25, my Quest just completely shut down, no gas pedal response, no power steering, no power brakes etc. And the red check engine light went on. Fortunately , the traffic was light and I was able to guide the Quest to the side of the road, after a few minutes, I was able to re-start the Quest and it then again ran normally. I scheduled an appointment for the July 12 with gates GMC Nissan in windham, ct. The diagnosis of the problem (in their invoice c94977) was as follows: "c/s check eng light was on, check and report vehicle shut off while driving. …
While driving on highway the van started to shake while applying the brake and then there was no power as the gas was pressed. The gas was to the floor and the max speed was 50 MPH. The more you drove the worst it got. I am only talking driving approximately 15-20 mile. When you first start out it is not as bad, but it is absolutely not safe to drive nor am I willing to drive it anymore. I have read articles on this and it certainly seems like a common problem. Lets get it together Nissan!!!!! I really want to know if going import is worth it. I have a 2001 GMC with over 175,000 with no problems.
