What owners report

My vehicle was t-boned on the left driver side. The front quarter panel and rear quarter panel was damaged. The left wheel and tire rod was replaced. The tires were replaced but every since this accident I have had severe issues with my front end steering and rattling noise. I cannot drive over bumps without my front end feeling like it shifts and I cannot turn curves over 20 MPH or else it begins to shake extremely bad. I have had multiple work done and it keeps doing the same thing. It is definitely not safe to continue driving with my kids in it but its all I have. I cannot exceed 30 MPH on a straight way without the vehicle shaking vigorously.

The alignment adjustment bolt, the bolt that goes through the unibody, broke and dropped the a-arm section that holds the back passenger tire, onto the highway. I had three tires going straight and the back passenger tire turned in at 65 MPH on the highway with sparks and swerving into the oncoming lane. We were able to regain control of the van and get it to the shoulder. For a moment we thought the van might roll. Our mechanic stated he has never seen anything like this before. This is a 2005 Nissan Quest with 65,000 and I maintenance it regularly. A very serious safety concern. This could have been a fatality.

Had the vehicle since 2004 as the original owner. Vehicle has not been in an accident. Heard a loud clunk when driving after removing foot from brake and after going over bumps. Turned out the metal subframe of the vehicle has completely rusted out and separated from the frame of the vehicle. The steering crossarms and ball joint are loose because of this. It's a $4000 repair and car has only 120K miles. Had to get new car. Dealer said it's not safe to even drive and not worth fixing.

2002 Quest · 139,000 miles · May 2021

We purchased a 2002 Nissan Quest van in February, 2003 from asheboro, nc Nissan. The day that we purchased the van, we experienced an oil leak. This problem was repaired by dealership, and we have had no other problems. In March, 2003, we started experiencing problems with a vibration in the steering, console, seats and floor. Asheboro Nissan replaced one continental tire in April then 2 more were replaced in October (same tire make replaced). Since all of this, the asheboro Nissan dealership has backed out of our problem, and I am now dealing with kenneth carter at Nissan America in la. We have now had a total of 7 continental tires on our van, and the problem still persists. My wife was told by jeff at asheboro Nissan months ago that it May be a problem with the axle. I am not sure if this was ever checked out. I was told to file this complaint by the nc atty. Generals office.
