When you put the car in DRIVE it will go in REVERSE. Happened several times and on the last time caused us to back into a pole and mess up the back bumper. We were trying to go forward but went in reverse. We have video proof but I can't load the video in this document.
My car battery died and I changed the battery. I noticed that the engine lights were on, so I made an appointment to get it checked as well as complete a state inspection. My car fob started acting up and they (Halls Jeep) told me to take it to the Hyundai Service Center because they have the equipment to do so. I took it to the Priority Hyundai and told them of the issue as well as reminded them that there was a recall issue relating to the software in the vehicle. After waiting 4 hours of back and forth, trying to find out what was going on with the car, I saw parked to the side. I asked about it and then another mechanic came and told me that they locked the car and were now unable to unlock it. I told them that there should be some emergency entrance, as all vehicle with a fob has a safety feature to unlock manually. …
Incident Description: I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Veloster (VIN: [VIN]) in May 2025. Shortly after purchase, the vehicle began exhibiting serious mechanical issues, including engine knocking, excessive oil consumption, stalling, misfiring, and loss of power. Despite these ongoing issues, the vehicle is listed as having Recall 198 completed. However, the symptoms associated with that recall continued and progressively worsened. The vehicle ultimately stalled in traffic while I was making a turn, resulting in an accident. In a separate incident, after exiting the vehicle and believing it to be in PARK, the vehicle moved unexpectedly and ran over me, causing serious physical injuries including fractures. Prior to these incidents, the vehicle had ongoing mechanical issues that were not properly resolved. The vehicle also required repeated jump-starts and became unreliable to operate. …

HVAC system wiring is melted, only works intermittently between knob #3-4. check engine light comes off and on for Wheel Speed Sensor (all 4) Invalid/No Signal. Fuses consistently blow.
