the rear window exploded spontaneously while parked on the side of a state highway overlooking the [redacted] - no rock or reason was noted for the window's explosion. Honda refused warranty coverage; we had to pay a 1k deductible to a body repair firm. this was a safety hazard at the least.
Right rear passenger window spontaneously shattered. I heard a loud pop while driving. Didn't see any damage when I returned home a few minutes later. About an hour later when I was pulling out of my garage the window simply shattered for no apparent reason. I took car to ACE auto glass for repair an they put a new window in but the regulator needs replacing an Geico is taking there time about processing my claim. I don't have paperwork on repair as it hasn't been completed. I do have pictures of broken window.
The instrument cluster is failing on my vehicle which causes the digital display that shows mileage and gas levels start off blank then as the vehicle warms it starts flickering and causes visibility issues as that is very distracting and could cause seizures to those sensitive to flickering. This also prevents drivers from knowing gas levels which causes drivers to be stranded on the side of the road or have the vehicle just turn off while driving due to no gas. The vehicle is available for inspection and I have videos of the issues as does many others having the same issue. I have videos of the issue but they are not allowing me to upload maybe due to file type. The flickering can cause seizures as well as being distracting which could cause accidents. …

The back window on 2010 Fit sport hatchback did not have any previous damage. The car was parked in my driveway overnight. When I got in and shut the driver side door, the back window shattered before I had even started the ignition.. The car had no previous damage or cracks/chips of any kind. The enitre back window had to be replaced.
I was sitting in the parked car listening to the radio before work when I saw a foot long crack form half way up the right edge of the windshield horizontally toward the center of the windshield. There was practically no people or cars around and it was a clean straight line crack. I found an online forum on edmunds.com where there were many people having stress crack issues with their Fit windshields. I went to the dealer and they found a chip in the crack about the size of a pinhead, 2 inches in from the edge of the windshield. They claimed a stone hit the windshield to cause the chip and suggested contraction expansion of the glass caused the crack. They refused to cover the damages under warranty. A phone call to Honda automobile customer service claimed no reports of issues with Fit windshields and also refused warranty coverage even after mentioning the online forum.
