I was driving from getting my daughter from school and felt heat and saw smoke coming from under the dashboard. I immediately pulled over and pulled my daughter out of the car the dashboard became engulfed in flames. I was told by the fire department that it looked like and electrical and fuel issue under the dash. There are known problems with this vehicle catching fire but my cin number when I looked up recalls did not have any on it. My insurance company also stated they had many claims against the make model of vehicle regarding fire issues do to manufacturers issues.

When filling the gas tank, gas continued to pump when the tank was full and it overflowed out of the tank onto the ground. I assumed it was a broken pump at the gas station, and reported the spill to the clerk. Next refueling at a different station it happened again. Only way to prevent it is to leave the car running while refueling so you can watch the gas gauge rise and stop before it gets too full. There is no way to misuse or abuse this part of the car, so one can assume the part was defective. Dealership informed my it would cost $1400 to fix.
While driving my car has turned off due to the recall on the win module over 6 times now. Thank god I was driving at a low speed on a side street each time. I lose all power and the vehicle completely turns off. I do not feel safe in this car. I hope your conscience can withstand possible crashes and people losing their lives because your piece of [redacted] company has had over a year to fix this and has not.
After the ignition switch recall was performed on my vehicle we experienced a stall condition that rendered the steering and brakes unusable for several seconds. The situation nearly resulted in an accident. The condition happen on a dry, sunny day while the car was in motion but not accelerating prior to going into a turn.
My van is not starting right away as it usually does. Had I been on the road would have caused a accident. The throttle light is on at the start, first it was the oil light. Had some mechanics say fuel pump but then read it is a fuse issue with the throttle
I was dring when I notice temperature gage going up I pull over to check and I begging to smell gas so I open the resoirver for cooling fluid in I some) a strong odor of gas I took to mechanic and they stated it is a possible leak in the head gasket
1. Safety defect in the wireless ignition module (ignition) in 2008 Town & Country (touring model). Vehicle will run but most electrical components will not work, including turn signals, windows, remote mirrors, lights, horn seat, door locks, window locks, clock, ac radio and wipers. The result of the defect includes inability to safely operate the vehicle once in motion. Driver is not necessarily aware of the problem until they go to use the horn, lights, or turn signal. Chrysler denied the existence of the problem until I made them come to my home during an episode. 2. Defective fuel pump. Vehicle idles extremely high and the entire vehicle vibrates violently. Chrysler replaced the fuel pump yet the safety defect continues. …
Vehicle shuts off while driving. How can this problem, addressed literally hundreds and thousands of times on multiple sites, be judged by your department as not a "safety issue"? I, along with my wife, have been driving down the road with my family at highway speeds and the van completely shuts down. I have been driving down my driveway at low speeds and the van completely shuts down. The van behaves as if possessed. The horn blares, front and rear wipers come on by themselves, flashers come on by themselves, doors lock by themselves, washer fluid sprays on its own at a high volume. I have decided, since NHTSA, Chrysler, and my local dealership can't/won't help, that I will call an exorcist. I believe the exorcist will be about as much help as the three of you combined. …
