What owners report

Auto stall at stop is not working safely on my vehicle there are two issues that can cause safety problems .A) when system restarts engine the vehicle has jumped forward several feet quickly causing very nearly hitting the car in front of me as a traffic light turned green . B) when I slow not quite to a stop making a left turn I have experience very low or no power and could be hit if a car is coming towards me . Both these issues do stop if I remember to turn off the auto stall system but I do not always remember ! I did make a compliant at a Chrysler Dealer they found no issues and did not reproduce the problem no warning lights come up when the problem happens . …

After not driving the car for a full day or so, when I drive down my street about 1/4 of a mile to a stop sign and stop the vehicle will not accelerate from the stop. I press on the gas but the car goes around 5 MPH for the next 50-100 feet or so and will not accelerate before finally kicking in and accelerating normally. This has happened over 20 times since purchasing the vehicle as new in late March of 2025.

Vehicle AC was blowing warm but car was operating normally with no obvious issues. After approximately three hours of driving car abruptly lost power and lit a warning light and shut off. The dealership was able to diagnose the AC failure, and now I understand that the AC is integrated into the battery system and inoperable AC failure constitutes a critical component failure leading to rapid overheating. No warning or reasonable means to anticipate this failure was supplied prior to incident. Additionally, the car is ~2yrs old and should not be experiencing critical component failures related to safety.

I purchased this car new on December 31, 2024. I have owned it for less than 16 months, and in that time, we have had an issue occur at least 5 times where we get an alert on the screen that says, "Stop Safely Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon". Less than 20 seconds later, the car completely dies. On each of the 5 instances, we were lucky to be going relatively slow and were in a safe place with a shoulder to pull over on. The vehicle was able to be turned back on within a few minutes. The check engine light came on momentarily, but would shut off before we were able to get the codes read. We brought this to the attention of Herb Chambers Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM FIAT of Danvers (not where we bought the car, but the closest Chrysler dealership for maintenance) and they were unable to provide any help. …

I was driving around 15 mph and the van suddenly lost all electrical and engine power. I could not drive and none of the instruments were working. I could not turn on the emergency blinkers / hazard lights. I could not restart the van. No buttons were working. The van came to a stop with some bad sounds from the engine. I was on a hill and I had to keep my foot on the brake otherwise the van would start rolling backwards. I could not place the vehicle into park and the parking break did not work either. This means I was effectively trapped in the vehicle, in the middle of the road, unable to engage any hazard lights. I called my spouse and he drove to meet me. He opened the hood and after a minute the power returned and the vehicle displayed a "service electrical system" message. I was then able to drive the vehicle home about half a mile. …
