My car has been at the first dealership (Brewbaker Dodge, Montgomery, Ala.) on November 11, 2020. I got the car back March of 2021. The problem of misfires on cylinder 1 side, hesitation when proceeding from a red light, and stalling out. The problem continued so; I took it to another dealership (Stiver Dodge, Prattville, Ala.) in August 2021. I was given the car back in February 2022 stating to me that the problem may correct itself after being driven until after my birthday (March 2022). So, to this date my car is still at the Dealership and Chrysler Star Team has no clue what is wrong with this car. I'm still paying a car note, insurance, and renewing the license plate for this car every year and moth. Chrysler knows that there is an issue with the 3.6L Pentastar engine. No one wants to help me in this situation, but all parties involved wants my money but no real solution(s). …

The code is PO658, and the CHECK ENGINE light is illuminated and can happen without warning while vehicle is parked, stopped or idling so far as I experienced. The ignition will not turn off and the battery must be disconnected in order not to drain the battery. If this were to happen in traffic or or an intersection we all could have been KILLED. …

Drivetrain axle fell off as I was driving down the road cause by defected bolts on prepeller The front propeller shaft may have bolts that were not fully tightened to the proper torque specification during vehicle assembly. Front propeller shaft bolts that are not fully tightened may allow the front propeller shaft to become loose and disconnect from the vehicle. Front propeller shaft bolts that are not fully tightened may be detectable due to noise and vibration. If the front propeller shaft disconnects from the vehicle, it may result in damage to powertrain and underbody components and may lead to loss of motive power which could cause a crash.

The car will consistently slip from park to reverse when you try to exit the car. You have to push the shifter into park twice for it to remain in park. Very dangerous, as it WILL be in reverse if you are not careful exiting the car.

On July 17 2016 I drove in a car wash parking lot.I stopped and shifted from drive to park. I took my foot off of the brake and I was in the motion to turn off the engine. But the car was in reverse and moved several feet in reverse hitting a steel post in the ground causing damage to the rear of my car. The transmission when from drive to neutral to reverse but not into park. There were two people standing near my car when this happened. If they would have been behind my car it have been a possible serious injury . I sent a email on July 18 2016 mopar assistance center explaining the accident but I never received any response from them.thank you [redacted]
