The contact stated that while driving off the lot when purchasing vehicle, the check engine warning light illuminated. The dealer was informed and diagnosed the vehicle with fuel system failure. The water pump was replaced; however, the check engine warning light remained illuminated. The vehicle was returned to the dealer, who diagnosed the vehicle with the same failure. The dealer cleared the code. The contact stated that the check engine warning light remained illuminated. The vehicle was not repaired. …
The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated while driving 50 mph, the vehicle began to stall and then seized. The contact stated that the low fuel level warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that he was able to restart the vehicle and continued driving to his destination. The contact stated he had experienced the failure on three different occasions. The contact called the local dealer and made them aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V223000 (Electrical System, Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the VIN was not included. One day as I was driving on the freeway, the vehicle's engine light/airbag light came on and the vehicle then went into "engine power reduced mode" I was lucky to be close to a turn-off. I was able to get the vehicle off the road safely. I turned off the vehicle and check it. Then turned the vehicle back on and all lights were off. It was shocking, the car was driving normally. I did not think twice and took it to the dealership. They told us it was just the battery and airbag sensor. Thankful they changed it, no cost to us. But later this happened again, this time it was the "engine light and traction control off". We have no idea what it is. Because we have taken the vehicle to a mechanic to get checked, but they can't seem to find anything wrong with it. This happens several times. Can I have some answers or help to stop this from happening. …
I am having the exact same issue as recall NHTSAID 14V614000, Manufacturer Campaign 14515. The car only gives me one warning, "Service stability track system" before the car completely stalls out. The car stalled out and completely shut off while I was on the freeway. I coasted to the shoulder of the freeway with a stalled car a no power steering. It has done that countless times. My code reader returned codes: P0606-PCM Processor Fault, P0685: ECM/PCM Power Relay Sense Circuit, P0689: EMC/PCM Power Relay Control Circuit, P0615: Starter Relay Control Circuit
The fuel gauge in my vehicle is not functioning correctly. It is showing that my fuel level is very low/empty even with a full tank of gas. I took it to the repair shop and the it had the codes P0452 for the fuel tank pressure sensor circuit and P0463 for the fuel level sensor. The repair shop replaced the fuel pump module which did not fix the problem. They suggested it appears to have an ECM issue. This exact problem is a recall on the 2014 Chevy Traverse however my vehicle is not included in this recall.
Dashboard notification indicating tighten gas cap, and then check engine light comes on. Took vehicle to get scanned and code says evap leak, took to mechanic all issues were fixed including replaced gas cap as suggested by many Chevy Traverse owners who have the same issue. 30 days later now same issue is coming up. Researched online and it seems that many other owners have experienced this and fix is only temporary.
On more than 5 occasions my car will say "traction control off" and "reduced engine power" then just shut down. This is very dangerous and can cause an accident. I took it in serval times and mechanics report that there is not issue that they can see. The check engine light with come on and off randomly.
fuel pump issue that is cause engines to stall while driving or not start after placing gas in the vehicle. It is having the battery run low and car die or stall and stop while driving. It will turn your check engine light on.
This report is related to a known and widespread computer glitch in late model GM cars. The glitch seems to be triggered by other system faults when the car is in motion causing multiple failures rendering the car unable to maintain speed over 20 MPH or so and also affecting the braking system. Please watch this video https://youtu.be/hbvaoiixnxy and then read the comments. This has been going on for years across a variety of GM models including the 2017 Traverse. It is a major safety issue as the cars become seriously incapacitated when the glitch occurs. There is no clear failure occurring and there are no faults recorded in the car's modules making it very difficult to diagnose and repair. If we didn't have the video I took to prove it was happening the dealership would have sent us away again. Please watch the video, everything you need to know is in there. …
My truck started shaking, after pulling over and turning it off, it cranked and ran normal (several times). The engine light came on and the reading was a starter relay fuse (similar to an ice cube) that was replaced. Then it started shaking, loosing power and not starting (rolling over but not catching). Code read throttle body which was cleaned. The very next morning exiting the interstate it lost power, would not start, again turning over but not catching. Towed to the dealer and diagnosed: fuel harness wiring. #3 ignition coil, spark plugs and fuel system cleaning. All done except fuel system cleaning. Drove to work, attempted to leave work and the vehicle would not crank, turning over but not cranking. Eventually cranked and 2 days later started jerking. Came to a stop sign, making a left turn it jerked and lost power in the middle of the road. …
