On April 29, 2025 we took our truck in for these 3 recalls Serial Data Gateway Module N242435631 -Fuel Injector Flow Rate N242450630 - Park Assist Retrofit - Exp 05/31/27 N222375790. We picked the truck up and had no issues. Then on November 28, 2025 our fuel injector 2 went out. According to articles we have found the recall for the fuel injector flow rate specifically addresses the ECM not controlling fuel injector flow rates and because it was not doing this correctly it put added stress on the fuel injector #2. We took the vehicle to Ken Garf Chevrolet American Fork Utah and they diagnosed the issue as the fuel injector 2 being bad. They quoted us with parts 2000 dollars to fix it. After researching this recall information we took the vehicle to Sky Chevrolet in Provo Utah where we got the vehicle and where it was serviced in April and asked them to look into the fix. …

I own a 2022 Chevy Silverado with a 6.2 liter engine. I had the original engine up until approx 80k in mileage when it failed, I was on a dark country road doing approximately 50mph and the propulsion system failed and the truck shut off, being a country road, I had minimum breaking and minimal steering. I had my [redacted] son in the car, we ended up in a culvert and I scraped either a large rock or a piece of concrete that sometimes line culverts, it did damage. At the time, until recently, I had no idea I should report this. I did know that GM had issued a recall and I believed the engineer would be covered, which it was. I never reported the damage to insurance as I didn't want my ins to go up anymore, so I have not fixed it yet. My [redacted] old was scared beyond belief. Anyhow, Williams Chevy in Elkton, Md replaced the engine free of any cost. …

On May 17th, my 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (mileage: 38,628) suffered a catastrophic mechanical failure resulting in an immediate and total loss of motive power while traveling at highway speeds on I-465. Diagnostic testing confirmed DTC P129F, identifying a failure of the Fuel Pump Driver Control Module. The failure occurred while positioned in the fifth lane of a six-lane interstate. This was not a gradual loss of performance; it was an instantaneous shutdown that left the vehicle without engine power or standard steering/braking assistance in high-density, high-speed traffic. This defect placed all six passengers in immediate and imminent peril. To reach the shoulder, we were forced to navigate a dead vehicle across four lanes of active traffic, resulting in multiple near-miss collisions. The danger continued as we were stranded on the narrow shoulder of a major interstate. …

Was driving at highway speeds when truck shuttered and rattled and quickly slowing down. Warning errors on dash stated "Reduced Acceleration, Drive with Care", "Service Emissions System", "Service Traction Control", "Service ESC". Got vehicle to dealer and they confirmed the error code (P0202 - covered under powertrain warranty), but then also noted an error code for P129F where the truck would not start up. They are recommending a replacement of the Fuel Pump Power Control Module. GM had updated a NHTSA bulletin (original: N262558690 - Emissions Recall - Fuel Pump Power Control Module - July 15, 2026) on August 12, 2026 that expanded the population of qualified models to include the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. …

As I was driving, the vehicle threw a CEL and I saw the RPM's fall. This happened multiple times, twice at an all-way stop sign, and once at a major intersection resulting in me being stranded with my vehicle in the middle of an active roadway, unable to move my vehicle. I brought my vehicle into the Chevrolet Dealership and the service department is claiming that I need to pay $1500 for a fuel pump with a CEL code that is not able to be duplicated. There is a TSB 24-NA-139 regarding my issue saying that it is not the fuel pump, it is the fuel pump control module. My issue is that the dealership wants me to pay $1500 for a fuel pump solely off of their "guess" of what the issue is. The bulletin calls out the P102B as one possible code related to the issues. …

On Sunday October 12th, 2025, we were driving in Grand Rapids,MN when our truck (2002 Silverado [redacted] ) suddenly lost power. We were on a main highway without shoulders. The truck would not restart. The truck would not shift out of park to be rolled/pushed off the road. After about an hour, a tow truck arrived and towed the truck to our home ($200). We connected the ODB2 Code reader and found code P129F. After a bit of research, this code is related to a failed Fuel Pump Control Module (GM 13544060). The module is superseded with GM 13554821. We found this fuel control model is the subject of a recall (N252516900) on various GM vehicles that share a similar body design and year to this truck with this exact module. A semi-local dealer had the replacement part (GM 13554821 - $60) and we were able to replace it Monday morning to bring the vehicle back into service. …

1. The fuel pump power control module on my 2022 Chevy Silverado failed. It was 38 months old and had 14,970 miles on it. I purchased it only 2 months ago. I believe the specific part number was 13554060. It was replaced with part number 13554821. The dealer retained--or more likely, disposed of--the old part. The cost of the repair was $762.87. 2. I was driving on Rt. US 20 in Toledo, Ohio. My truck experienced a sudden loss of power without warning. The vehicle stalled and would not restart. I had to call a tow truck. The truck was towed to Ballas Buick, where the part was replaced. 3. There was a voluntary recall of other vehicles that utilize this same part, so the manufacturer should be aware of the flaw in this component. The recall number is N252516900. 4. No warning light came on before the vehicle stalled, stranding me on the road. …
