I just got the car about a month and a 1/2 ago everything seemed fine until 2 weeks later after I purchased the vehicle I notice some lagging and hard jerking in the transmission when I barely push the accelerator I notice from 1st to 2nd gear it had a hard time wanting to know when to shift and when to wanna go smooth then a week and a 1/2 later the lane departure light turns on and the crash control I turned them off but it still turned on even know I went into the vehicle settings to turn them off a week following the lights started coming on more progressive except this time it deactivates all the cameras front and back I went 3 times and the main mechanic said not exaggerating like a phone it needs to learn how to work itself over time it will get better the only way we can fix it is when you brake down and get towed* all know is, is that the vehicle doesn't seem to know when to …
I have a 2019 Toyota Camry hybrid le which purchased as brand new. After 2-3 months of driving, I noticed that at low speeds and particularly when the road is very flat if the car hits any kind of pothole or bump, there is a grinding noise coming from the front breaks (or maybe the CVT gears engaging for regenerative breaking) and sometimes even the ABS light starts shining in the dashboard. This is not easily replicable but it's most likely to happen when slowing down behind a stop sign or red light. At higher speeds or if the breaks are applied with higher force this issue is almost entirely not present. Also, I've not noticed it while the vehicle is turning, it usually only happens when slowing down on a straight and flat road and suddenly one of the tires goes off balance.
I purchased my vehicle about I month a go the problem is when I slow down to around 5 MPH and then hit the gas to go again the car picks up speed super slowly and it I hit the accelerator hard the transmission jerks really hard almost like someone is hitting me from the back , I took it to Toyota they keep saying the car is just fine . Worst choice ever iam never buying Toyota again I drove a 2015 Camry much better then the [redacted] 2018 Camry they said it's better but I say it's cheaper and probably won't be as reliable as it's older version.. It suck to drive in the city , also the engine is super loud .
3 times the collision prevention stop working while I was driving at the high way. You have to turn the car off and then turn it on to for the collision prevention system to work again. And this is so dangerous. The transmission sometimes glitch and not working properly and shifits like crazy. I feel it sometimes that car sounds not right because it should shift smoothly. Air condition when it on cold the fan can give good air streem which is good but when it on heat the fan is so slow and it doesn't give good air streaming. I was trying to find a way to report this to generate recall but I didn't know how until I found your website.
On January 25, 2017 at approx. 7:37 pm I started up the vehicle that was not in motion. Before placing the vehicle in motion I noticed the skid and parking brake lights were both on. I then checked the parking brake and it was in the release position (up). I put the vehicle into motion and both lights remained on. At approx. 7:45 pm I was driving cautiously on the highway at approx. 60 MPH. At about 7:47 pm all of the sudden I felt the steering wheel stiffen, and at the same time the vehicle began to decelerate from 60 MPH to speeds of approx. 40-45 MPH. Simultaneously, I pressed on the gas pedal to accelerate but the vehicle failed to increase in speed so that is when I pressed on the gas pedal down to the floor but still the vehicle did not increase in speed. …
While driving on a street at approximately 25mph, I approached an intersection with a stop sign. I applied the brakes and lost power steering electric boost, ABS system, stability control, and speedometer. I was driving in a straight line leading up to the intersection. There was no warning leading up to this loss of function. All systems remain non-functioning. Warning lights for steering, brakes, ABS, traction control, and check engine light are illuminated. The dealer states that the ABS actuator is faulty. The repair part not immediately available. The Toyota rep stated that there was no additional warranty at this time. The repair will be $3000. There are other reports of similar issues. This could be an unrecognized systemic safety hazard. My vehicle has not experienced slowdowns as others have reported when experiencing similar system failures. …
The contact owns a 2015 Toyota Camry. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH and attempting to activate the headlights, the vehicle lost motive power with the ABS and stabili-trak warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was able to restart; however, the failure recurred. The dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 84,256.
I'd like to file a complaint with my 2015 Toyota Camry xle. I don't feel like the shifter is very safe in this model. I had a nerve racking incident the other day while my kids and their cousins were in the car. I was parallel parking on an incline. I tried to put the car into drive and my car rolled back. I thought, wow, this must be quite an incline. I checked to make sure I was in gear, but nothing was visible on my gear shift or on the dash digitally. I put one foot on the break and one on the gas to ease into what was hopefully still drive, and the car rolled back after I took my foot off of the break. I paused for a little bit, getting really nervous because now I am so close to the car behind me. I told the boys that something is wrong with my car and it won't go into gear. I tried to 'gun it' and my car rolled back or reversed and hit the bumper of the car behind me. …
