My Tailgate Came Open Unexpectedly, while my trailer was hooked up. I was in a development going around a turn very shortly after pulling off from my starting point. The tailgate crushed on the jack, causing significant tailgate damage. I have been In contacts with Turnersville Dodge, and they directed me to Maple Shade NJ Alfa Romeo/ Fiat. I have been on the phone with Them numerous times, as well as sent emails. This has been going on for over a year now. There is an open recall on the tailgate latch for my particular truck. This is the reason that my tailgate came open unexpectedly and caused significant damage. I have mentioned this recall, and I get alerts weekly about the open recall on the tailgate. Nothing is being done. I run a business , and have already had the inconvenience and unsafe operations, ongoing for over a year now. …
2017 Ram Quad cab truck leaking water into cabin ? 3 rd rear brake light gasket replaced and still finding water on front windshield and dash and also under back fold up seat storage compartments filled with water ??? There are numerous complaints re: Ram trucks of different years experiencing same problems why is this not a issue for a recall when this will rot out floor n cause mold on interior carpets and headliners ? My truck has 12,169 miles on it and I feel like it is worthless !!! I didn't buy a fish tank I purchased a very expensive truck that Ram knows has this problem many many times ?
The problem that I'm having is the front fuel strap where it's hooks in the frame support has rusted out, and now the fuel tank is only held on just with the rear strap where it hooks in I've noticed a lot of frame rot and is really concerning thankfully I've noticed this while the truck was setting in the driveway.
I was involved in a wreck back on feb 20th of 2019.that impacted the lower rear c-post of my truck. Just last week as the body shop was beginning preparations to replace the complete side of my 2017 Ram 1500. When they cut off the a/b-posts they noticed the truck had surface rust in the inner structure of both. Rust that should not be in there. The c-post and rocker panels were coated on the inside but not the other two. I have taken pictures although they are not as good as actually looking at the issue in person. They are replacing that but makes me concerned about other rams and honestly the other side of my truck. A lot of things can rust on a truck and you would still be considered safe. The a/b-post is not on that list in my opinion.
"Takata recall" on my truck, the tailgate will randomly open when driving down the road. I have had my lawn mower fly out into the road on the interstate due to this issue. This is a huge safety issue. I have done my research and I see there are a lot of other people who are having this issue. I have emailed Ram and mopar with no response. They want $350 to fix this at the dealership. My truck is a 2017 I should not have to pay to replace a part that is a safety issue. This should be a recalled issue. Anything you could do to help would be greatly appreciated.
When backing into garage on 5/24/20 Ram 1500 quad cab steering locked in one position and vehicle accelerator went to the floor. Vehicle accelerated quickly backwards into my garage wall and damaged the garage wall, garage door, and vehicle. I was able to stop the vehicle prior to it hitting the back of the garage and going into my house. The vehicle steering was still locked and the vehicle would not go back into gear. Had the vehicle towed to the dealership.
I was rear ended on nov 3rd 2018. The collision center where my xar is being fixed has put the order in for a brand new box assembly directly from Dodge amd its been almost two months and there is no part available. I have been incurring cost for rentals as my truck is still in the shop with no end in sight.
Swerved to avoid deer in road. Hit a tree head on at approx 50mph. Airbags never deployed. Car reported airbag fault on display immediately after accident. Sheriff and ems both felt airbags should have deployed.
