BACK OVER PREVENTION/BACK UP CAMERA SENSING SYSTEM Rearview image does not always power on, has delay powering, and/or sticks while displaying in the wrong direction misleading surrounding area. Because of this issue I had backed up into a smaller car in my blind spot, telling me It wasn't in my backup zone. This complaint prior to the accident, was told to me that it was an electrical systems update that was in the works. This still being an issue after almost 2 years. I have video footage of the malfunctioning backup camera, in all states. Delayed, stuck in wrong direction, and showing back up camera while driving forward.
The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while reversing, the rear-view camera intermittently displayed a distorted image. The dealer was contacted and advised the contact to take the vehicle for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 51,000.
Driving in parking lot, as I went to turn into a spot, my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe suddenly accelerated as if I had floored the gas. Unintentional acceleration continued as I applied and pumped the brakes. The Jeep hit a concrete and metal pole in the lot, and continued to try to accelerate, crawling up the pole until the engine was shut off.
Component/System That Failed: The airbag system, forward-collision sensors, and collision-warning/braking system failed. Despite a severe frontal crash, no airbags deployed and no warning or automatic braking occurred. The Bosch Crash Data Report shows abnormal sensor spikes (up to +52g), inconsistent Delta-V readings, and failures in object detection ("No Object" recorded before impact). The components remain available for inspection through the body shop and insurer. Safety Risk: My family and I were injured because the vehicle provided no warning, no crash avoidance, and no airbag deployment during a major impact requiring a full frame replacement. This failure places all Jeep 4XE drivers at risk of severe injury or death in similar conditions. Has the Problem Been Reproduced? The problem occurred unexpectedly during the crash and cannot be safely reproduced. …

I am writing to report a critical safety issue involving my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe following the most recent Uconnect system update. After installing the update, my vehicle completely shut off while driving on the highway, putting my entire family in immediate danger. This was not a minor malfunction-our lives were at risk. After researching online and communicating with other Jeep owners, I have learned that this Uconnect-related failure is affecting multiple 2024 4xe vehicles, indicating a widespread and serious defect that must be addressed immediately. I am demanding immediate contact from a senior executive or engineer to discuss this issue, next steps for resolution, and assurance that Jeep will take full responsibility for this safety hazard. …
Jeeps received an over the air update on 10/11/2025 and after the update experienced loss of power while driving with no warning . This could have caused an accident . I was driving down a road and there was no warning indication when my jeep suddenly just started to stall. I just had it inspected and drove without issue the day before . When I called the dealer to have it towed she said someone else had the same issue and had just called . When I searched online others with the same vehicle were also experiencing the same thing . This is a very dangerous experience that coukd have caused casualties and Jeep should be held accountable for it. Their software update was not ready for release and this type of failure is entirely preventable .
I have had multiple issues with this vehicle including A failed sensor resulted in the loss of traction control, four-wheel drive, and ABS brakes, making the vehicle unsafe to operate. A fuel sensor malfunction caused gasoline to backflow and spill during refueling. On a separate occasion, the vehicle shut off completely while driving, leaving me without control of the vehicle. There are now 2 recalls on the vehicle. 1 for the vehicle randomly turning off and the other for potential to catch fire. Neither of which the dealership or Stellantis has issued a fix and are saying it's "safe to drive", however I failed my inspection a few months due to a torn windshield wiper because that is a safety risk.
