I pulled my Jeep into my driveway. I put the car in park with my foot on the brake. When I went to turn the car off, I heard a loud sound coming from the car. the car jerked forward, my foot still on the brake, and then it took off into the side of my house and garage. I tried to stop the car with the brakes and it wouldn't stop. After it hit the house, I looked down and the car was still in park. I had to restart the car as it shut off after hitting the house, I put the car in reverse and backed it up. When I put it back in drive the car wouldn't move. Only reverse worked. After an hour the car started working in drive. I had the car towed to the dealership. They told me that there were no error codes and that the care is fine. I now have zero confidence in this car. This is my fourth Jeep Wrangler and I never experienced anything like this. …

While driving my vehicle in four-wheel-drive low, with no lockers engaged I noticed that the rear wheels at different times were dragging, I could also hear and feel the ABS module actuating. During these events I would have diminished breaking capabilities and no ABS warning lights. it was doing it under 5 miles an hour at first and then higher speeds. I got a service ABS, service traction control, service stability control, four-wheel-drive unavailable, service four-wheel-drive system Messages all of a sudden, and i disengaged the four-wheel-drive lover back to 2 Wheel Drive. At this point the brake pedal was hard and would not move, my back left wheel was completely locked. I shut the vehicle down waited a few minutes and restarted it, all of the lights were still active but I was able to move the vehicle. I began traveling forward and the rear wheels alternated locking up. …

I was traveling on the [redacted] on Sunday [redacted] and while started smelling brakes and I got off at the service area and pressed on the brake pedal and the vehicle wouldn't stop. I had no brake pedal and just heard a clicking sound. There were people everywhere and I didn't want anyone to get hurt so I had no choice but to drive the vehicle towards a yellow pole which did stop the vehicle but I have been told after the car was towed to a shop that there is an error code B22A9 and believe it was caused by some ecu failure of some sort. The vehicle is in really bad shape and airbags also didn't deploy. I would like this to be investigated as I would not feel safe in this vehicle if it's repaired and returned to service. …

Manufacturer corporate and its dealer network are failing to provide a safe, timely remedy for a vehicle subject to high-voltage battery fire recalls (Recall 68C / NHTSA Campaign 25V-741) and a power steering fire recall (Recall 21D / NHTSA Campaign 21V-363). The vehicle has an active check engine light, a disabled hybrid propulsion system, and has now suffered a catastrophic electronic brake booster failure on a college campus, rendering the brake pedal rock-hard like compressed air and leaving the vehicle unable to stop normally. This is a direct, recurring safety failure of Diagnostic Trouble Code DTC C0580-00 (Brake Booster Motor Circuit Low), which was officially documented by a franchise dealer in June 2026. …

Driving at approximately 50 MPH, I lost power steering and the indicator/warning lights on my dash, including ABS, were all lighting up or seemingly resetting. I was able to limp it home when I regained power steering about 20 feet from the driveway. So at the moment, it's not possible to observe the issue. Loss of power steering at that speed to a less experienced driver than myself, such as one of my children could have proven catastrophic. I am currently having the vehicle towed to the dealership. There was no prior indicator or warning before the incident occurred. ~ I did a quick search on what the problem could be and found this video on youtube (not mine) which shows almost exactly what happened to my vehicle ... …

While driving a vehicle swerved into my lane, to avoid hitting them I tapped my brakes, upon tapping my breaks the Jeep lost propulsion and it felt as though my brakes lost power as well. I had to coast into a parking lot where I didn't even make it to a spot and had to be towed to the dealer. The Jeep would no longer start and gave a "service charging system" message. Upon inspection the dealer stated that Chrysler immediately shipped a power inverter module (pim) upon my Jeep being entered into the system. Since my issue, I have seen 3 other 4XE Jeeps pulled over and broken down in precarious positions. This is what prompted me to file this report, as I believe this may be an issue related to other 4XE Jeeps and if this is the case, it is only a matter of time before an accident that causes loss of life because of how severe and sudden the issue is. …

On 9/16/21, my vehicle dangerously lost power, following a very loud sound and a violent shudder. Power for braking and steering was lost. The vehicle had no response to the accelerator pedal. I attempted to coast to the shoulder of the road, when the vehicle slammed into park on its own while still traveling at roughly 15mph. The wheels locked and the vehicle came to a violent stop by itself, likely not activating the brake lights. The cooling fans came on at full speed, climate control cancelled itself, and the vehicle locked in park. While using the built in emergency button, the vehicle telematics shut down and dropped the dispatcher. I completed the emergency service call using my phone. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, initial reports are that it is not drivable, the main hybrid battery pack fuses are blown. …
