My 2025 GMC Yukon's infotainment system has repeatedly failed. The huge center screen frequently goes black upon starting the car. Once the screen goes black you are unable to control literally dozens of the vehicle's features including but not limited to climate controls, safety features, heated/ventilated seats, gps, lane assist, the radio, no backup camera, etc. When the screen blacks out, the vehicle automatically turns the heat on to 76 degrees every single time and blows hot air from the front windshield defogger vents only. The list of features controlled by the touch screen is quite enormous. I have taken the vehicle to the GMC dealer four (4) times for software updates, none of which solved the problem and they have admitted they have no fix for this issue. …

November 12, 2025 - Turned on car and immediately noticed multiple system failure notices and very slow ability to brake. Immediately took to dealership - said battery needed to be re-charged. December 9, 2025 - turned on car and once again immediately noticed multiple system failures and very slow ability to brake. Failures were "Brake System Failure, 43 MPH Top Speed, Forward Collision System Unavailable, Service Brake Pad Monitor, Service ESC, Service Traction Control, Service Sterring Column Lock" Immediately took to dealership. Over the last 25 days in service all the dealership has told me is that their master technicians have looked it over and do not know the root cause. They are waiting for a new technician from GM. They also have another Yukon at the dealership with the same safety symptoms. No issues with the car prior to these two instances of failures. …

2024 GMC Yukon intermittently experiences complete loss of audio while driving. During the failure, all audio sources stop working, including radio/music and incoming hands-free telephone audio. During a phone call, the other party can hear me, but I cannot hear them through the vehicle. When this failure occurs, the audible turn-signal click/clack also does not work. In addition, the audible blind-spot warning does not sound. The visual indicators continue to function, but the associated audible warnings are lost. The condition is intermittent but persistent and can last 30+minutes. GM has issued a technical service bulletin addressing loss of audio together with loss of the turn-signal click/clack on 2023-2024 GMC Yukons. …

2022 Yukon · 100,000 miles · Jul 2025

My wife and I purchased a new 2022 Yukon around July 4, 2022. The vehicle came with a 36k or 3 years warranty. Around October 2023, we experienced several safety concern issues with the SUV and around 11/01/23, we reported these issues to a GMC dealer. Around 11/01/23, we took our SUV for service at an approved GMC dealer and reported issues with the steering suspension such as a knocking, snapping, and cracking sound when making a turn, and a bumping when making a U-turn or left turn into a parking spot. We also reported issues with the parking and key sensors. We were informed the issue was fixed and that some suspension bolts were loosed and needed to be torqued. On 1/29/24, we took the SUV back for some of these same reasons after other dealers declined to take our SUV under warranty. Once more, the issue was temporarily fixed. …
