My wife was parking our F150 in a parking lot with landscaped dividers I was a passenger. The vehicle was in one foot driving mode. As she approached the curb going 1 to 3 mph, she moved her foot from the accelerator to the brake. As soon as she left the accelerator the vehicle rocketed off. She put her foot down on the brake, but the power of the vehicle was so great and so fast the vehicle went over the curb and a 4 inch landscaping tree. Luckily we were facing a drive on the other side and not a car. The vehicle stopped in the drive. The surge possibly lasted 1-2 seconds, but that was enough to lose complete control. If we were facing another car we would have landed on top of it. We were not injured and no pedestrians were in the vicinity. The body shop and the Ford dealership were unable to tell us what occurred. Ford needs to access the EDR module. …

Purchased vehicle on [redacted]. The vehicle was brand new and had 12 miles on it. I drove the vehicle home. My family and I went out to dinner and returned home and the vehicle remained in our garage. In the morning, I drove the vehicle to the gym. the vehicle was at that location for approximately two hours. I then drove it to my workplace. When I pulled into the parking lot I noticed some smoke from the hood. I turned off the vehicle and popped the hood. I then tried to open the hood, but realized that the vehicle was on fire. I backed away from the vehicle and called 911. The vehicle was ablaze within 1 minute of me exiting the vehicle. Firefighters responded approximately 8 minutes later and put out the fire. I do have videos of the fire happening

On [redacted] at [redacted] I dropped my wife and 2 children off at the Funland Arcade in Deep Creek, Maryland. The parking lot was full from the holiday weekend and I was planning on taking the Lightning to a nearby charger while the family gamed so I double parked perpendicular to the arcade entrance, put the hazards on, and let them out. After the 3 of them got out, I placed the Lightning in reverse to back up 5-10 feet so that I could exit the parking lot through the same way I came in. Once I had enough space from reversing so I could make the turn to exit I placed the Lighting in drive. The moment the Lightning switched to drive it accelerated at a very high speed as if I was flooring the gas pedal, which I was not. The lightning was in one-petal mode which I always use unless I'm on a highway. …
