This complaint is concerning the recall 22C22 for the 2022 Ford F150 park lamps flickering, I took my vehicle in for service to get this recall performed because the recall was open, when I picked up my vehicle I was told that the recall had just been put on hold by Ford, this was around August 15, 2024. I was also told that I would be contacted by them, the dealership/service advisor when the recall was open again, this has not happened, its been several weeks and I have not heard anything back, I have called Ford and also done a live chat with them over my Ford Pass app and still have no answers. …
Day time running lamp (DRL) failure. The driver's side DRL is not working anymore on my 2022 Ford F150 XLT with LED light package. The vehicle has 37,000 miles on it. The DRL is a vertical and horizontal strip of white LED's that stay on during the daytime for visibility. I took it to the dealer and they changed the module that runs the light and it would not fix it. They said that the lights are broken in the headlight assembly and it will cost $2,009 to fix the light that is not covered by my extended warranty. Apparently you have to get the "light" package on the extended warranty, when I was told I have a bumper to bumper warranty. How do the LED's burn out that fast. Ford built them into the headlight assemble and they cannot be replaced without buying a whole new assembly. I have seen other vehicles like this on the roadway with only one light working. …
The driver-side integrated factory LED headlight assembly experienced a sudden, complete failure of the vertical LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) / parking lamp strip. The vehicle is completely stock, and the electrical system has never been modified or altered. The component failed suddenly with no prior warning lights, dashboard messages, or symptoms. Safety Risk: The failure of the LED DRL significantly reduces the vehicle's forward visibility and conspicuity to oncoming traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists, particularly during daytime hours, dusk, dawn, and inclement weather. Because only one side is illuminated, oncoming drivers may misjudge the width, position, or presence of the truck, significantly increasing the risk of a front-end or sideswipe collision. …

The local dealer informed the contact that they could not complete the recall because the dealer who had sold the vehicle new was responsible for performing the recall repair. The contact stated that he contacted the dealer who sold him the vehicle, and the dealer informed him that they had performed the recall repair July 29, 2023. The manufacturer was contacted and informed the contact that they had not received a recall service report from the dealer. A case was opened and later closed. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. …
I am constantly receiving error messages that pop up while driving telling me that there is a headlight system malfunction. I have also had adaptive cruise control lane. Keep assist and associated features.Uh pop up as error warnings. My headlights are cornering headlights while driving. They have failed by moving to the downward and inward position and stayed in that position, significantly reducing my visibility. My alarm constantly goes off for no reason. While driving, the speaker system makes a very loud noise. That almost sounds like a gunshot.Hitting the windshield, which is extremely frightening and will cause you to jerk in response. I have taken this back to the dealership five times trying to get this diagnosed, and it still cannot be fixed. I have asked that this be considered a lemon. …
