Right Price Auto stated that they would do repairs 2000 ford f150 XLT purchased truck, they supposedly repaired gas gage however bad battery & rear tires(extremely bald) were left untouched & kept lying about getting tires replaced(rather they were used tires or not),just constantly keep lying...... Also keep lying about repairing my 2015 ram 1500 5.7V8 big horn stating they fixed it(Misfire on #8),with all the lying & scheming(Now all Coil packs(8) & spark plugs(16) needs to be replaced),trucks are just sitting in my yard,2000 f150 bad battery & bald tires in rear(unsafe to drive),I feel cheated, they sold my trade in(2003 dodge ram 1500)with in a week & leave my son & I with trucks that are inoperable, they stated these things would be repaired before we signed any papers but once we signed AS-IS document they started with the lying & scheming, either I want these matters fixed or I …

Was on a slick road. I was going 15 miles an hour, when my 2000 Ford f-150 spun completely around. When the truck spun around it went towards the ditch backwards. When I hit the ditch the truck flipped onto the passenger side. When the tow truck arrived on the scene he informed me that the rear tire broke off the axle. I had never heard of this happening at such a slow speed, neither had the tow truck driver, especially since it was a heavy half ton load axle . When we were looking at the axle in the light it appeared that it crystallized and snapped. I am a welder and work with metal every day and the axle look almost like cast.

I was driving my Ford f-150 at around 60 miles an hour when the rubber pealed off my general grabber aw tire. As a result it caused me to swerve and almost resulted in an accident. My rear fender was severely damaged as well as my rear light. I have primewell valera tires on the front and they are cracking. I purchased all tires at Firestone. Of course, when bringing the complaint to Firestone they say I have to call the manufacturer since they do not distribute that name brand.

The truck was driven to 2miles very close to home. This is the first time occuring. The truck caught on fire and what I did was call the fire fighters to come. Therefore I got the hose and pointed it at the truck and it turned off.

Vehicle: 2000 Ford f150 w/123000 mi. As I was driving down the street I heard a noise from the back of the truck. I looked in the mirror and saw the spare tire, which was mounted under the bed, bouncing down the street. I stopped and retrieved it and the hardware. Luckily, no one else hit the tire and no damage was done. However, severe vehicle damage, serious injury, or even death could have occurred due to this incident. Upon further examination of the mount I found that the cable that secures the tire was snapped off. I had the vehicle for the 42,000 miles and had not once used the spare. Nowhere in any vehicle manual does it say to maintain or replace the cable after a certain number of miles. The cable is expected to last the entire life of the vehicle. This is a huge safety issue. I am afraid to follow behind any Ford trucks because at any moment another of these cables could snap. …

Left rear wheel fell off the pickup. Damaging rear disc and axle. I was going approximately 45 MPH when this happened. The vehicle has had a vibration problem at 65 mile ph varying in intensity. The dealer replace the drive axle, wheel, caliper/disc and brake lines free of charge. The vibration at 65mph still continues. The dealer has stated the vibration is within allowable limits as determined by the manufacturer. I have heard other have had the same problem with this 2000 f150 5.4 l ABS 4 wheel disc brake vehicle with tow package. Mileage was 25,863 VIN #[redacted]

I repaired a tire that had a nail within an inch or less distance to the sidewall. I let my service/shop manager know about the situation and he told me to do the repair anyway, which I did. The tire repair failed and the tire ended up going flat. All I know is they had me break it down for inspection but the patch did seem to be on the surface properly. There are no posters on how to do the tire repair properly nor are there any methods of double checking the repair after the tire was complete. I do what us asked of me and follow the procedures of the shop but I feel they were insufficient in providing proper procedure in tire repair and verification processes.

I was just driving and felt a vibration and have spent a lot of money trying to figure the problem out and no one knows why it is vibrating. I have had my tires road forced and check. I have had an alignment. I have had my crankshaft checked. I have had the tires balanced. I saw a bulletin on valves and that seems to be the closest to my situation I have the information on the valves and will be happy to share that with you. I have spent a lot of money at the dealer and independent shops even a transmission shop and no one can figure it out. I would like to have this 1-2 year problem solved. The front end has been replaced and check as well.

Tl* the contact owns a 2004 f150 with Goodyear wrangler tires, line size lp265/70/r17. The contact stated that the tires were purchased as a replacement. While driving 60 MPH and applying the brakes for a traffic stop, the drivers side tire went flat. The tire was replaced with a spare. The following day the contact noticed that the rear passenger tire was also flat. The contact discovered that the side walls were wearing, causing them to go flat prematurely. The manufacturer was contacted and informed him that the warranty was expired and they were unable to assist. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.

While traveling eastbound on freeway, left rear wheel flew off truck, over concrete median barrier into westbound traffic. An accident subsequently ensued in westbound lanes involving pregnant woman. Three of the five studs failed resulting in wheel assembly pulling away from remaining two studs and flying off the vehicle. The dealer refused to repair the damage to the truck resulting from this failure even though the truck was still under original warranty, and even though no work was done on wheel or tire other than by manufacturer or dealer prior to sale.
