oil filter housing failed at 70,000 miles. The issue caused leaking oil to contaminate the environment and burn on the auto components that caused smoke and unsafe driving conditions. My repair mechanic said that this is a common issue and there is a limited stock of replacement parts due to the issue. Online research shows that Dodge stopped manufacturing of this part and only after market replacements are available.

I waited for weeks, and never heard anything back from the dealer, finally I was able to secure an appointment with them. They kept my car all day and I had to hound them to be able to come get my car as they never contacted me to let me know if it was done so I could pick up my car before they closed. Finally I called and 10 min before they closed I was told my car was completed. When I went to pick up my car it was still in the back lot and parked very tightly between other cars. …
