While driving on the expressway going the speed limit of 55 MPH when all of a sudden, there was a sudden hesitation delay in the acceleration that dropped me to 20-25mph, out of the blue..scared the daylights out of me!!!..I have only 51,340 miles on the odometer, come to find out with a diagnotic check it says speed sensor, coded as p0700/p0722,it was replaced still coded as p0722 ,p0700,p0597 and idle codes too..took it to a GM (Chevy dealership and they said with no fault of me, there was pre- mix of transmission fluid and coolant fluid mixing in the radiator..the speedometer and the odometer went out service engine light pop on now there's no warranty,it has expired 4/2016 yet 80,000 miles which ever comes first, I'm the second owner and now I have to pay 1,200 in repairs..this is not fair!!!!! …
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo. While driving 45 MPH, the speedometer displayed incorrect information. In addition, when the accelerator pedal was depressed, the vehicle jerked before accelerating and the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to two independent mechanics where it was diagnosed that radiator fluid contaminated the transmission. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the radiator, transmission, and trans lines needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 86,000. Updated 07/12/16

You can't drive it anywhere it runs right then for no reason it loose power and won't accalrate while driving it will drop below 10 MPH in traffic or lose all power while crossing road or turning I'm afeead I'll b hit in side or ran over in traffic.
I was stopped at a red light waiting to make a left southbound turn at approximately 10:30 p.m. The Aveo malfunctioned on turning. I ended up going southbound in the northbound turning lane and was completely stopped. I was unable to start the car, change gears, turn on headlights, or turn on flashers to warn other drivers of impending danger. The car was completely stalled with absolutely nothing working - confirmed by police, a friend, and wrecker operator. It was impossible to even push the car to a safe location as the wheels would not move/turn. A manual override was required by the wrecker operator to even load the car onto the wrecker. …
The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo. The contact stated that while driving approximately 15 MPH, the transmission became unbolted and separated from the vehicle. Additionally, the engine separated from the motor mounts rendering the vehicle undrivable. The vehicle was later towed the local mechanic. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 121,000.
The left side mount-to-mount bracket bolt broke when accelerating normally from a stop. This is one of the bolts that holds the engine to the frame. This caused my shift stick to be thrown back on every acceleration. This is an obvious safety risk. I have not yet had this problem verified or confirmed by anyone. The car seemed to drive well and normal before and up to this incident.
