Tl* the contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Aveo. The contact stated that the front and rear of the vehicle were unstable while driving. The dealer (edmond Chevrolet Buick GMC, 824 e main st, bradford, pa 16701, [phone]) was unable to provide the correct solution after inspecting and diagnosing the vehicle. The dealer replaced the ball joints, which did not prevent the failure. The vehicle was taken for an inspection and an independent mechanic diagnosed that there was a loose bolt that needed to be removed and replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 40,300.

Had an accident when someone ran into me. Airbags did not deploy. Suspension bars had to be replaced. Also have a crack in the vacuum hose. I was driving apprx 25-30 miles.the problems had nothing to do with the accident..my question is that I should not have to replace the suspension bars this soon. Now the drums have to be replaced (why?) I only have 60,000 miles on the car but these problems started long before this. Is this car on the recall list? ) [redacted] ('parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 U.S.c. 552(b)(6).')
Last year I bought this car in February and March is when the problems started, on i85 coming from durham the car wouldn't let me go no more than 20mph. I have been told the throttle body has been gone bad replaced it several time and I'm still having numerous problems with it and the break line rupturing while coming from raleighi keep good maintenance on my car to not understand why this is happening and yesterday the check engine light comes on again please put this car on recall. This car has stressed me to the max and I can't go places I want anymore!
The driver side head lamp is not working properly. The wire lighting harness kept shorting out, I had it repaired at a shop. It later melted and the light went out. I tried to order another on, but the dealership only sells the whole kit not just the light bulb itself. I am having to pay over $300 for a new kit when all I needed was a bulb and the harness. This is insane, especially when there have been recalls for this very same problem. I also had an electrical problem where my car battery would drain, and lose power.
Purchased new 2008 Aveo in April 2007 which has excessive vibration. I took into dealership and was advised it was due to the ac causing extra work for the motor. Since it was summer time I went on my way and dealt with this vibration (which only happens while in drive) it is now January and no ac is being used. I took the car back in to the dealership and was told yes there is excessive vibration and we will look into it 4 hours later they called to let me know they cannot find the problem and even contacted the GM advisors and are all in agreement with this issue however since there is not service bulletin or recall regarding this I will have to just deal with it and wait and see if something comes up with a fix. …
