4 Mar 2021 passenger side front wheel bearing failed while returning home from anniversary trip with 37,733 miles on our SRX. Dealer stated that SRX was out of warranty due to time after purchase. 5 July 2021 passenger side rear wheel bearing failed while returning home from family trip with 40,003 miles on our SRX. Called Cadillac Customer Care and received a case number. Immediately received an email stating that she was my customer advocate and would get back to me within 3 working days (email is attached). NO ONE has ever contacted me. I have contacted CCC on four different occasions with a promise every time that someone would get back to me within 48-72 hours. NO RESPONSE. I have not been discourteous to any of the Customer Care personnel and therefore, have no idea of why they do not respond to me, even if it was a DENIAL. …
We had our vehicle recalled for links in the rear suspension some weeks ago. Saturday 6/4/22 we were going south on hwy 19 south of Tavares Florida at 45 to 50 MPH in a light rain. We went thru a light puddle in the road twitched. Didn't feel like anything I had experienced before. A couple of blocks further on the back of the car veered back and forth significantly and I thought i had blown a tire, all tires were hard. We returned the car home gingerly and completed our trip with our daughters car, When we got home i got under the car to see if I could find anything bent or broken, I was astonished to find both back tires bald and thru 2 layers of cord halfway across the inside face of each. The car has 48609 total miles. The tires have about 22000 on them. The car has been dealer serviced , on schedule including tire rotation.
On June 16, 2026, while traveling southbound on Highway 67 in Cedar Hill, Texas, my 2015 Cadillac SRX suffered a sudden, catastrophic tracking failure and crashed into a highway wall (Cedar Hill PD CFS Report 7655). Component Failed & Availability: The rear suspension toe link assembly separated at highway speeds, a direct failure matching active GM safety recall NHTSA 21V473. The totaled, un-repaired vehicle is preserved at a Copart yard and is 100% available for inspection. Safety Risk: The sudden tracking loss at highway speeds caused an immediate, un-correctable collision with a concrete wall, creating a severe, life-threatening risk to myself and surrounding traffic. …
My 2015 Cadillac SRX wheel cladding,hub caps, are coming off. Took to dealer, hendrick Cadillac norfolk va., because the cladding was rattaling and starting to come of the wheel. They said that the wheels were not covered by the manufactures warranty. When the cladding, hub caps, were manufactured the adhisive was not applied right and are seperating from the alloy wheels. They could possibly seperate from the wheel and cause an accident or hurt sombody.
The contact owns a 2013 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds and making turns the wheels were pulling and not feeling normal. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 21V473000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact called the local dealer who stated that the parts were not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered a loaner vehicle or a credit towards another vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000. The VIN was incomplete.

Valentine day a car side swiped me on the 91 freeway my car went out of control but I was able to get control of the vehicle driver side got banged up from the back bumper all the way to the driver side front fender.
I received a notice 21V473 from the NHTSA, via an email and a written letter nearly 90 days ago. GM dealers are stating they do not have the parts to repair this safety recall notice. How long do owners of these UNSAFE vehicles have to wait for these parts to be manufactured? NHTSA should be imposing some kind of DAILY fines on GM for these delay tactics. Am I suppose to not drive this vehicle because it is not safe to be on the road? GM is just stalling and using this delay tactic because they know this is going to cost them millions of dollars to correct these flaws. The owners of these vehicles are being punished by not making these repairs in a timely manner. NHTSA should put the pressure on GM to correct this malfunction in a more rapid manner by fining GM on a daily basis then maybe they will move off their duffs!

General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013 Cadillac SRX vehicles, manufactured January 31, 2012, through March 18, 2013, and equipped with 18 inch wheels. On the affected vehicles, the wheel lug nuts may loosen.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will remove and reinstall the wheel nuts by performing a tire rotation, free of charge. The recall began on June 3, 2013. Owners may contact GM at 1-800-521-7300.

Remedy: A label that will correct the label originally installed will be mailed to consumers along with installation instructions. The customer will have the option for dealers to install the label.
