1)BODY- The body of the vehicle (paint) seems to be chipping and/or rusting at an increasingly rapid rate with no known causes. This rusting is causing the value of the car to plummet as I am trying to sell the vehicle. It first appeared in about 2019 and has been getting steadily worse without any way to stop it. 2) SUSPENSION- On every single Toyota I've owned (4) the struts wore very quickly and are NOT a cheap fix. I had to at one point, fix them more than once in the same vehicle. I was told by the repair tech that it is a common issue seen in Toyotas. If a strut goes while driving it can cause major safety issues for the driver. 3)WHEELS- The hubcaps more specifically speaking, on every Toyota I've owned, have also had an issue maintaining its hubcaps. …

Hi, In my car VSC light is always on, I got it scan as well but it doesn't show any code for VSC and ABS systems. Toyota dealership also don't give any information about the codes. It's kind of very dangerous to drive with all the lights on the cluster. Thank You

One car accident. Front end shimmy LED to an uncontrollable spin in right lane of highway (62-63 MPH in a 65 zone, road dry, no sand, ice, water, oil), spun into left guardrail, bounced off and hit right side guardrail head on 45-60 MPH. Front/knee airbags did not deploy, seatbelt caught too late, leading to driver (only person in car) hitting head on steering wheel and knee on center console. Injuries include concussion, whiplash, right knee/hip pain/damage, headaches, backaches, dizziness, neck/back soreness, forgetfulness following accident (random short term memory loss). Car totaled (front end destroyed, other damage), problem reported to Toyota. Toyota rep appeared to be trying to blame driver on airbag/seatbelt failures but is sending investigator to check auto. Insurance company has inspected vehicle. Driver not ticketed by police (deemed not at fault for accident).

Daughter driving home on I-81 in va and rear driver tire blew out. The Toyota Camry (2007) is only 3 months old and has 6,00 miles. She says she checked before leaving and was going 70-75mph. It was 4 am about 75 f. I believe it is a faulty tire: Bridgestone turanza el 400 02 p215 60r16 94 v m+s. She ended up in a ditch, it was that or hitting a truck. Ambulances, fire and police responded but thankfully she was not hurt. The car suffered front plastic bumper damage.

I was driving down a hill about 5mph because it was snowing and there were cars infront of me. I was slowly pressing the brake and then the brake pedal got stuck and I couldn't control the brake, the wheels had locked to and I kept on sliding and I went head on in an SUV. Car is totaled and I sustained neck, back, knee, and shoulder injuries. And also I don't know if there was a fire but after the airbags deployed there was a lot of smoke coming from everywhere.

I was on my way to work I was going at a speed of 45 -50 miles per hour;all of a sudden my car started spinning out of control. The car landed in a ditch on some huge rocks. It was raining at the time of the wreck but I never agreed or felt like the car hydroplaned. There is know real explanation for the car spinning out of control other than what I believe to be the tires. Not sure if it was traction, tread or blowout. The car has been declared a total loss.

As soon as I drove this car off the lot, the "tire balance" light came on. The tires were low so I put air in them and the light is still on. The front bumper skirt scrapes on every dip in the road it seems, sounding horrible. Then, it got caught on a parking stop which loosened the skirt so it now hangs even lower and scrapes bottom over every crack in the road.

The tire pressure sensor is always on, especially when the temperature drops. After having tire pressure checked things are usually OK for a day or two and then they are back to pressure sensor illuminating. This is a very common and known problem with Toyota and Lexus. This has been happening since 2010 when the vehicle was as purchased.
