Wife was driving down hwy 77 arkansas city kansas, making a pass she lost control after she slid off shoulder at bend of the road. Out of the multiple air bags only one deployed the passengers side curtain. After reviewing the crash site and reading report the first hit to the car was drivers side front end, it was a very hard hit. Steering bag should have gone off as it dug into a turn around mound. Went up and down wide median ditch starting a six turn rolling of the 2007 Toyota Camry. She went out sun roof even though she had seat belt on. Medical report stats seat belt marks and severe leg injuries. She will never be the same and I'm lucky to still have her. I will use all means to find out why the so called safety features on this car did not prevent some of the damage to this wonderful women.

I was driving a 2007 Camry in san jose, california on January 29, 2009. Involved in a solo accident and I suffered a concussion so I have amnesia about the actual accident. Post-accident photographs from the investigator from Mercury insurance company confirms in two separate photos that carpeted floor mat was wedged up into the brake/accelerator area. I have filed a civil lawsuit against Toyota motor sales, U.S.A., inc. In santa clara county. Toyota has yet to accept responsibility for accident. First case management conference is scheduled for May of this year.

On 6-12-2009 approximately 5 pm. I had an incident with my 2007 Toyota Camry. We were on vacation, driving to southern shores, nc. Stopped at: the virginia diner got in the Camry. To start the car that is equipped with the option, Smart key, you must depress the foot brake and push the start button to start the engine. Again, to place the car in gear, the foot brake must be depressed. I placed the car in reverse and the engine began to race with the brake being push as hard as I could, the car couldn't be held. It moved backward. I hit a parked pickup truck and drove it into a SUV parked next to it. The incident took only seconds. I exchanged information with the owners of the damaged vehicles. Someone called the sussex co. Sheriff, who arrived, checked for injuries. …

Dashboard of subject vehicle started displaying signs of a very sticky substance in the summer of 2013. I purchased this vehicle in dec. Of 2010 with one previous owner .. Signs of melting dashboard did not appear for several years past the warranty. Internet search reveals that numerous Toyota owners have experienced this same problem. After dealing with Toyota directly, I was told they would provide a replacement dashboard but that I would have to pay $624 in labor. My position is that this is either a products liability, implied warranty of merchantability, or latent defect issue and has no bearing on an expired warranty. In addition, there May be a safety concern with deployment of the airbag due to deteriorating dashboard, not to mention the possibility of toxic fumes circulating throughout the vehicle. …

The 2007 Toyota Camry le 4cyl automatic sedan experienced hesitation, unintended acceleration and complete lack of response to the depression of the accelerator pedal; two times creatiing situations that easily could have caused an accident. The first time I was trying to merge onto a high-speed lane of a highway. I pushed the accelerator pedal and the car did absolutely nothing, then roared to life, but too late. I had to brake because I didn't have enough time to make it. Then, about a year later the accelerator stuck and the engine revved to 6000 rpms, and would not come down. I was forced to pull over and shut it down. Both of these times I brought it to the local Toyota dealer and they couldn't find anything. The most recent time, after the stuck accelerator pedal incident, they had it all day and sent it home with a service man who could not duplicate the situation. …

I purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry in March 2006. This new vehicle had several defects including the replacement of a dash by the dealer after delivery. The quality of the brake rotors on this vehicle are unsatisfactory. I have had the rotors replaced five times. The vehicle has approx. 46,000 miles. I have had two independent repair shops evaluate the factory rotors and they both come to the same conclusion, poor quality rotors. It's not how the vehicle is being operated since we are not causing anything that would cause these rotors to warp the way they do. We do not drive our vehicles hard, just to cause more maintenance expenses. Toyota has paid for replacing the rotors once. They have also charged me twice for the same work and I have paid twice to another auto shop. I tried to file a complaint through Toyota and that was useless. I will never purchase a Toyota vehicle again. …

I was driving for work with my Toyota Camry 2007. While accelerating to get on the highway, around the end of the ramp, my vehicle suddenly accelerated with no controls working from the driver's seat either for the steering wheel or the brake. In a matter of a few seconds, the vehicle went a few times in a zig-zag manner and subsequently hit a semi-trailer which was southbound on the highway. My car was completely smashed in the front and totaled later. This incident occurred after my car went through the accelerator pedal replacement as per recommendation of the Toyota recall procedure. I could have been easily killed in this accident. I got a traffic ticket for the first time in my life after having a ticket-free driving record for the past 11+ years. I am pleading 'not guilty' for this ticket because the defective Toyota car was responsible for the accident and not my error.

My 2007 Camry smells horribly like mold and mildew. The mold is in the A/C but I can't get sunnyside Toyota to replace the A/C and clean the vents. What do I do? I have been complaining since I bought the car brand new in March 2006. I finally found a doctor who could diagnose what was wrong. The mold in the A/C of my Toyota has caused my leg muscles to be weaken so I have alot of pain walking and a large bump on my leg. Toyota has been nice but won't clean out my A/C or vents and won't admit this is a very very common problem in the 2007 Camry. I am high sensitive to mold and it has caused alot of sick days, doctors appts, and pain. I would like them to replace the A/C and I am sure there will find the mold.

2007 Toyota Camry recalled had the new parts installed @ dealership. After which I experienced the accelerator sticking and not slowing down without pressure to brakes. Returned to the dealership and they said they couldn't duplicate the problem, found no fault codes and rechecked the fixes they had previously installed. The problem still remains, the car doesn't decelerate when you let off the accelerator and in fact had an instance of it speeding up and decelerating freely on it's own. The dealership informed me there is nothing they can do as their computers didn't find anything wrong but as the owner of this vehicle there is clearly something wrong with it that I do not feel safe driving this vehicle.
