- my spare tire, lane assist, and/or emergency breaking, which none went into effect during the incident. - I was forced off the road where I collided with a parked car on the side of the street, which led me to being taken by ambulance to the local hospital. - Not yet, my vehicle is currently at a body shop being repaired. - I asked my Insurance to investigate when they went for the appraisal, but am unsure if it was done. - No warnings were given prior to the collision.

Randomly, and without warning, the instruments, gauges, and displays will switch into a language I do not speak or understand (Italian). Coinciding with the switch to Italian language, cluster and radio display settings revert back to default settings, auto door locks and paddle shifter becomes inoperative (with no menu to enable), pedestrian emergency brake (peb) lamp or forward collision warning (fcw) lamp turns on with no way to disable, units of measurement including speed, temperature, etc. all change, and many other random settings change as well. ***This is clearly a dangerous situation because of all the functions and gauges that change, and the fact it is difficult if not impossible to recover from this due to the language of the setting menus, and the complexity of discovering and navigating through all these changes. …

This vehicle has had multiple recalls. Anytime that I call in to get serviced. I receive one of these responses from their service department: they can't replicate the issue, if the lights that came on are no longer on they cannot tell what the problem was, or they fixed it. I've had multiple calls and service request with the dealership as well with Stalantas and Chrysler capital. I have pictures of different lights that go off in the dashboard whether it's the hybrid service whether it's engine hot, whether it's the driver assist not working, "vehicle ready to drive"while it's been driving a while, other issues that I've had regarding the components in the vehicle the AC and heat not working properly where you can have it on heat and it doesn't heat anything or you can have it on AC and it doesn't cool anything. And then it fixes itself and it starts to work again a few days later. …

Earlier this spring, when we started our 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the language had changed itself to Italian, the units were metric, the 'Forward Collision' off icon was stuck on the dashboard. Also the paddle shifters did not work. In May, 2025, we paid $204.41 to Gary Mathews Motors in Clarksville, TN to 'diagnose' and 'fix' the issue. Fast forward to this month, and the issue happened again! They didn't 'fix' anything. See forum where HUNDREDS of other owners are experiencing the same exact issues: [redacted] Also see Star bulletin regarding this issue: [redacted] From what I can see in the forums, there is no permanent fix for this issue. Despite this, Jeep/Stellantis keeps charging customers to 'diagnose' and 'fix' the issue which is a scam/fraud since they know there is no permanent fix. …

The Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) systems on my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee are consistently failing to operate as intended, creating a significant safety hazard Symptoms include: System Inactivity: The FCW fails to alert or provide braking assistance during clear, high-risk frontal collision scenarios. Persistent Warning Lights: The 'FCW OFF' indicator illuminates on the instrument cluster and cannot be cleared by toggling settings in the Uconnect 5 system. Software Defaults: Following Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, the FCW and Pedestrian Emergency Braking (PEB) systems default to 'OFF' and often remain disabled despite user attempts to re-engage them. Hardware Misalignment/Blinding: Frequent 'ACC/FCW Limited Functionality' messages occur even in clear weather with clean sensors, indicating a potential calibration or module communication failure. …

My vehicle has multiple software and electrical issues that Jeep has been unable to diagnose or repair, and there is currently no recall addressing these problems. One of the most serious issues is that the vehicle will randomly switch the display language from English to Italian while I am driving. When this happens, the speedometer changes from miles per hour (MPH) to kilometers per hour (KPH), making it difficult to know my speed without pulling over and manually changing the language back to English. This creates an unnecessary safety concern. Additionally, the automatic door lock feature no longer functions properly. Although the dealership has repaired it in the past, the problem has returned. I also continue to receive a dashboard warning indicating that the Forward Collision Warning system is disabled, even though the feature is clearly enabled in the vehicle's settings. …

I own a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is experiencing unintended automatic braking while driving. The crash detection/forward collision warning system shows a constant warning light on the dashboard. While driving under normal conditions with no obstacles present, the vehicle will suddenly brake on its own. This has occurred multiple times and now happens almost daily. The problem first occurred on November 26, 2024, the same day I purchased the vehicle used with approximately 34,158 miles. The issue has continued as the mileage has increased to approximately 51,500 miles. This creates a serious safety risk because the vehicle can suddenly brake in the middle of traffic without warning, which could cause another vehicle to collide with the rear of my vehicle. I am concerned about the risk of a crash or injury. …
