My "Vehicle Health" reports all systems good on the BlueLink App-- however, when I open "diagnostics history", it shows 8 repeated reports under DTC: C183987 (SAFETY - Anti-lock Braking System). There is also a reports for a DTC C186B87 (ELECTRICAL- Lane Departure Warning System), and a C188087 (null). So there are 10 total reports of this in my history between 11/7/2025 to 9/18/2026. The reports for the anti-lock breaks were reviewed by the dealership and advised by Hyundais tech line that they were just glitches in computer system. However, they have continued. And on top of that, I just filed a separate report about my car accelerating when I pressed the brake (thankfully it happened in a parking lot)-- no idea if its related but its all fishy. Thus I will be going back for another review by dealership "service" team. …
The contact owned a 2025 Hyundai Palisade. The contact stated that while driving 25-30 MPH on a curvy road, the steering wheel suddenly locked up, and the vehicle failed to drive in the intended direction, drove down the street, into a yard, and the front end of the vehicle crashed into a tree. The brake pedal was depressed prior to the crash, but the vehicle failed to respond as intended. The air bags deployed during the crash. After the vehicle had crashed into the tree, a bystander yelled that the vehicle was on fire. The contact was able to exit the vehicle. The contact stated that the fire started under the hood, near the engine compartment. The vehicle made exploding sounds three times while the 4 ft. tall fire progressed towards the cabin of the vehicle. …

Driving on a 4 lane street at approximately 25 mph in the right hand lane next to curb when another vehicle swerved from the left lane into my lane. I slammed on the brakes in an attempt to stop and avoid any contact with the other vehicle. All the brakes did was a hard and long shudder, and did not seem to even slow my car let alone stop the car. Fortunately, the other vehicle attempting to swerve into my lane stopped. My vehicle never stopped and only seemed to slow down slightly. All I could do was to move my vehicle more towards the curb. At the time, I did not feel any impact and assumed no contact or damage. The other driver continued down the road and got onto the highway. When I got to a place to stop, I looked at my vehicle and do have damage to the left rear wheel well trim and back quarter fender area. My car would not stop. It felt as the ABS system was modulating hard. …
The contact owns a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel vibrated and was shaking erratically. In addition, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the brake pedal was difficult to depress. The contact stated that the brake pedal needed to be depressed extremely hard to stop the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the failure occurred mostly on bumpy roads, regardless of the speed at which the vehicle was being driven. Additionally, the traction control was independently activated. The contact stated that the failure was persistent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The vehicle was returned to the contact; however, the contact stated that the vehicle was a death trap. The contact stated that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. …
The contact owns a 2023 Hyundai Palisade. The contact stated that while in stop-and-go traffic, the brake pedal was depressed and was abnormally stiff. As a result, the vehicle failed to come to a complete stop and crashed into another vehicle. The "Critical Forward Safety functions are limited" and "Radar blocked." warning messages were displayed on the instrument panel. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed and there were no injuries reported. A dealer was contacted and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that a packet would be mailed and needed to be completed on the incident. The contact was then informed that based on the information in the packet, an investigator may reach out to the contact within six to eight weeks to inspect the vehicle. …
I purchased my vehicle from South Point Hyundai in Austin, Texas on [redacted], 2022. Almost immediately after purchase, I began having trouble with the vehicle's braking system. In essence, the vehicle seems to inappropriately activate its ABS while braking over uneven surfaces (think-parking lots, speed bumps) in dry conditions. I have dashcam videos of at least three examples of this happening (from Aug '22 through May '24). I took the vehicle to the dealer for repairs that included the braking issue on or about [redacted], 2022, but the dealer claimed they were unable to diagnose and address the braking problem. There were no dash indicators or DTCs that were available. This problem continued to exhibit itself and was a matter of concern to our family, until the braking system's failure caused a collision with a parking garage access gate arm on [redacted] 2024. …
