What owners report
The contact owns a 2026 Honda Passport. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the ignition warning light illuminated and the message "Keyless Access Failure" was displayed with the TPMS warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the wiring and connectors in the dashboard needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 590.
The navigation when using apple maps simultaneously tells the driver 2 different sets of directions that do not match. The small screen on the gauge cluster shows incorrect street names that are nowhere near your location, and also tells you incorrect turns. For example, the large navigation screen on the infotainment system will say to make a right turn on the correct street, while the small screen on the gauge cluster will tell the driver to make a left turn an a different street that that the vehicle is not near. Sometimes it will make up random street names. This is dangerous to drivers who are not aware of the problem or forget about it because it causes confusion while driving. This causes the driver to wonder which set of directions to follow, make wrong turns, and look for streets that are not there. This would be especially dangerous to new drivers or elderly drivers. …
The contact owns a 2025 Honda Passport. The contact stated that on several occasions, the Auto START/STOP intermittently failed to operate and the vehicle shut off while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that a battery warning light was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact was able to restart the vehicle. Due to the failure, the contact was forced to manually turn off the feature each time after starting the vehicle. Upon investigation, the contact's husband discovered NHTSA Action Number: EA25004; and associated the failure with the Action Number. The husband also associated the failure with the fuel injector or a possible software update. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 15,800.
The contact owns a 2025 Honda Passport. The contact stated that while attempting to drive from a complete stop, the accelerator pedal was depressed, but the vehicle stalled. The message to start the vehicle was displayed. The vehicle was shifted into park(P), the brake pedal was depressed, and the vehicle was restarted. The contact stated that the failure had occurred ten times in the month of July. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a faulty battery, and the battery was replaced; however, the failure recurred approximately one week later. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.

I am having an issue with the turn signal / emergency flasher not making any noise while in operation. The system visual components work fine. It's the inability to hear the flashing of the signals while driving down the road This could lead to issues with other cars trying to interpret the intention of the movement of my car while I am driving. I went to the Honda dealership (Gillman Honda) service department and was informed that my particular model does not have a fix or capability for the sound level to be adjusted, whereas other models (Pilot, Accord, etc.) do have this capability. Replacement of the flasher is not an option. Could the NHTSA please create a minimum decibel level standard to help insure safe operation of vehicles on the roads.
On 11 Apr 2025, I was driving my 2023 Honda Passport at night on a toll road in clear weather when my infant son began screaming in distress. I pulled over onto the shoulder, partially onto a dirt area with bushes for more space. I pressed the "Park" button, unbuckled my seatbelt, and opened the driver door to step out. As I did, the vehicle suddenly began rolling forward despite being in Park with the door open and the seatbelt off. I fell trying to exit and had to roll away from the vehicle as it continued moving. A passenger jumped into the front seat and stopped it. This wasn't a lurch or slight movement the car rolled enough to put me in danger. It behaved as if it were in Neutral, not Park. I later tested the same conditions (engine running, door open, seatbelt off), and the vehicle auto-shifted to Park as designed. This confirms the safety feature failed in that moment. …
The vehicle suffered an electrical failure while driving (55-60mph). During this electrical failure the engine shut off, had no power steering or brakes, and had to get the vehicle off the road and stopped under these conditions. After getting the vehicle stopped, the vehicle would not restart and vehicle ultimately had to be towed to a Honda dealership for diagnosis and repair. This has happened twice, ([redacted]) and ([redacted]), since an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and wiring harness were replaced under a warranty/recall/known defect on (04/12) at Gwinnett Place Honda in Duluth, Georgia. The first attempt to diagnose and repair this issue at Autonation Honda in Columbus, GA didn't uncover any error codes and the issue could not be reproduced so no actual repairs were made. The vehicle is now sitting at Honda in Albany, GA awaiting diagnosis and repair for a second time.
