My fiance, me, and our 3 month old son were involved in a pretty serious roll over October 13th of this year and we had no air bags during the wreck they deployed at a delay hitting me in the head. I had already hit my head on my window shattering and breaking it. After we were upside down the passenger side air bags deployed, then when about a minute or two went by I exited my seat dazed. As I came out my seat I was met by an forgiving blow my side air bags which had not deployed after all this time. I got myself together and got my fiance and child out the car. Honda told me wreck was my fault for improper use of the vsa OK fine but what about the air bags that shouldn't have made them not deploy. …

Please, just check problem with air bags! Http://www.arfc.org/complaints/2005/Honda/Odyssey/air_bags/problem.aspx air bag indicator light on and off. After two years the light on most of the time and it went off automatically for a while then came back on. I call to American Honda motor inc. They don't want to create a recall for that because that will be different component fail in that case. They just want to create the recall for each component break down. They not cover the repair cost and depend on which component under warranty then Honda will not charge the parts. Otherwise we need to pay all the repair. I request for the recall for the SRS light on. Because a lot of the owners think that is not important they think just the light is on and keep driving. I was thinking the same way too. …

On June 15, 2015 my 2005 Honda Odyssey airbag system light came on and stayed until now, I was scared due to airbag might blown out or causing any trouble while vehicle in use or worst something happen. I took my vehicle to Honda dealer on June 16, and I was told no recalls. They did some diagnose and I was told it was the seat belt buckle and wiring on driver side, the buckle was replace (free of charge), but the wiring cost $550 to have it fix. I refused the service due to no sense and not enough evidence to prove the issue. I did some research and found same issue on same vehicle that has airbag system lights on dashboard. I do believe that the dealer should address this as recall especially if the vehicle never been in accident. Please let me know if there is anything you can do to address this issue. Thanks

Yes when I purchased the vehicle I was missing a few fuses, my back left door won't open or close on my car display it always shows that the back left door is always open. Also the car was missing a break pad on the front left wheel. It's also missing the passenger airbag. The dvd player doesn't work it always says error. And the car is missing all motor mounts so basically my motor is just hanging on top of cables in my car. The GPS display was also missing and my front right window doesn't close all the way up. The major #1 issue is the electrical problems in my car. I have 2 children I'm scared on day everything is fine & then one day it's not with my kids in the car god forbid. Oh yeah and the middle row left seat doesn't lean forward or back.

I have a 2005 Honda Odyssey touring. For the last couple months, my passenger side air bag doesn't work when I start my car (pic's attached). Because of this I started researching the problem. I then found all the major air bag problems. I put in my VIN, but the msg I get is that it doesn't affect my car, because I'm registered in ca. However it does say one of the causes is excessive heat. I live in san bernardino county & the heat for the past mo. Has been 100 degrees or above, & when the car is closed up I'm sure the minimum inside is above 125 degrees & when the problem started. When you are replacing millions of air bags, I believe you should definitely include ones that are experiencing current problems. Thank you

1) I have occasional "check airbags" message popping up on the dashboard, which disappear after turning off/back on. It May happen while I am riding or when setting the gear to park and unplugging the seatbelt. Consumer reports shows that there was a recall declared on airbags back on August 1, 2005 shortly after I bought this car on May, 2005. American Honda said that there is no recall on airbags. I would still drive this car and by that reason decided contact nhtds. 2) rust on the body of the car above the rear right wheel is getting deeper. I have seen exactly the same spot rusted on other odysseys made in 2005 or later, when driving.
