I was pulling into a parking space at church. I had my foot lightly on the brake as the idle speed was sufficient to enter the parking space. When I pressed on the brake to stop the car completely the brakes failed and the car lurched forward about 10 ft and hit the church building damaging my front left bumper, buckling the hood and components behind the bumper.
On Nov. 15, 2023, this vehicle had an episode of unintended acceleration as I was pulling into our garage. This resulted in the front end of the car crashing into material that was stored against a garage wall. I contacted the dealership immediately, and the car was towed to them. They stated that no computer error codes were found. A Honda certified repair center was recommended.. The car was towed to this repair center. It cost approximately $18,000 to repair the car and took 10 weeks. I also contacted American Honda to report the issue. I was told that I should call again after the repairs were finished and that additional testing would be done. I did call Honda after the repairs were done but did not hear back from them. I drove the car from the end of January 2024 until November 2024. …
The vehicle has been in 3 times for shaking and check engine light. First time the Honda technician diagnosed as misfire cylinder 2 issue caused by bad injector. The dealership indicated that Honda would not honor warranty fix if the car did not store the error code on the computer even though "big safety issue." Second time a 60 minute software update was authorized by Honda. Third time 3 error codes were shown: power, transmission, emission. Screenshots provided to dealer but the car computer did not store the codes after the incident. It appears the software is designed not to store the code for intermittent issues by design. First incident documented along with the bad injector causing cylinder misfire at dealership on 5/18/26. I have video of this inspection sent by dealership to me on this date as evidence. …
I own a 2024 Honda CR-V EX-L with approximately 59,628 miles. While driving the vehicle, multiple warning lights began flashing on the dashboard. At the same time, the vehicle became difficult to drive and did not feel as though it was operating normally. I was concerned for my safety because the problem occurred while the vehicle was being driven. The vehicle was taken to two different authorized Honda dealership for diagnosis. I was informed that the fuel injectors had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealership quoted approximately $2,500 for the repair and told me that the fuel-injector failure was considered normal "wear and tear." I am concerned that fuel injectors would fail on a 2024 Honda CR-V with only approximately 59,628 miles. I am particularly concerned because the failure was accompanied by multiple dashboard warning lights and made the vehicle difficult to drive. …
Subject: Safety Recall Concern - VIN: [redacted] - Location: Ukraine Message: "I am writing to report a safety concern regarding my 2024 Honda CR-V (VIN: [redacted] ), which was originally manufactured for the U.S. market and is currently located in Ukraine. Given the serious nature of these defects-specifically the risk of fuel leaks/fire and the potential loss of steering control-I am concerned about the safety of operating this vehicle. …
