Owner reports

Selected complaints filed with NHTSA by 2007 Honda CR-V owners, lightly cleaned up (personal details are redacted by NHTSA).

My husband was I voved in a accident where the other driver hit him in the front side of the bumper where one of the airbag indicators are located. We took the vehicle in for inspection of repairs and they told us that that airbag sensor was triggered which caused the airbag light to turn off. We are concerned because of the sensor was hit then why didn't the airbags deploy?...it shows on the steering wheel the small part has been lifted where the airbag is but it didn't fully deploy..this is a big safety issue ..the husband could have been seriously injured if this was a huge accident because the airbags should have deployed if the sensors was hit. The seatbelt is also not properly working which is also an indicator that the airbags are not working now. I need someone to get back to me with this issue to resolve this issue and fix my airbags

The passenger car door unlocks for no reason. It used to automatically lock when I start driving , now it starts to open and will not remain locked while driving, or when I lock my car door when I park. When I use the key fob the car alarm goes off and the door is still unlocked. This car has had a recall on the airbags. The light comes on once in a while. It was fixed by the Honda Dealership but recently, once in a while , the light still comes on. It is concerning . The air pressure warning light will remain on even after I have had my tires checked.

We have replaced the defective Takata airbag in August 2016. The vehicle has the new airbag now. We were involved in an accident on dec 6th 2016. My vehicle was not moving at a traffic light our vehicle was hit from the rear end by a Chevy truck that is traveling at approx 30miles per hour because the other driver failed to stop on time. Due to the impact of the crash from the rear, my vehicle was jerked frontward and hit the vehicle in front of my car. The vehicle is badly damaged at the rear and is also damaged on the front. My wife who is driving my vehicle was badly injured. The new air bag did not deploy. She smash her face onto the steering wheel. She has a cut on her left eyelid and half her face including her left eye is swollen now. My friends and I have a question. After being hit at 30miles per hour from the rear, why is the newly replaced air bag not deployed? …
