-The fuel injection system failed on my brand new Honda CRV and the engine light came on at around ~3,000 miles. Since the fuel injectors were replaced, the same problems and noises occur, but the Honda service repair cannot find a problem. The fuel injectors continue to fail, erratically using too much or too little gas during -trips with MPG well below the reported 38-40 MPG. - The car malfunctioned while I was out running errands. - The problem was confirmed by a dealer who replaced the fuel injectors, but the same problems persist and the dealer hasn't fixed it. - The manufacturer representative at Honda Corporate Office Customer Care refused to address concerns and it has not been inspected by anyone except a Honda Dealer. -The engine warning light came on ~3,000 miles during the first fuel injection failure

Driving on an [redacted] near St Pauls NC at 70mph the engine shut off. Annunciator came on stop now engine is quitting. Check engine light came on. We were in a construction zone so there were barriers blocking the shoulders. We were in a high risk of someone behind ramming into us. We coasted to the exit which was 1/2 mile away. We exited at 2mph. We were very fortunate that no one from the rear, hit us. There was a tractor trailer behind us who put his flashers on, realizing the issue stayed behind us to keep cars from hitting us. All warning lights came on, first engine then all of the safety warnings. Car would not run. It was towed to a Honda dealer in Fayetteville. Honda analyzed the issue as a misfire resulting in engine damage. They performed a boroscope and found 3 piston cracked. Honda after 3 weeks installed a new short block and fuel injectors. …
The contact owns a 2023 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal gasoline odor inside the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. On 1/6/24 I started my 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport (5,500 miles) and every warning light on the dashboard (brakes, tires, check engine) was on. The error messages displayed said "emissions system problem, avoid heavy acceleration & high speed". It repeated this message for the power brakes, power steering, ABS, hybrid system, and all of the ADAS systems. Took to the dealer and they reset the codes and it drove normally. Problem re-occurred on 1/8/24, same symptoms. Dealer stated the wire harness for the radar camera needed to be replaced, it was replaced under warranty. The issue repeated on 1/19/24 however when I began to drive to the dealership, the car completely stalled while I was in heavy traffic on the highway, losing acceleration, power braking and power steering and forced me to coast and pull over. I was able to restart the car and use limp mode to the dealer. …
It happened twice so far, while driving on the Highway, suddenly the car would no longer respond to the accelerator pedal and the car started losing speed meanwhile the warning lights flashes on the dashboard., In a panic we had to cruise to park on the highways shoulder. shut the car off thinking the car may have overheated or something, then restarted the engine and the dashboard was very normal, we proceeded to drive cautiously to mechanic, the mechanic found no error code to lead him to any diagnoses. The car drives normally after each incident. we are very concerned that this event could happen in critical situation and cause accident or the faulty component may causing this issue may lead to other more serious power train trouble that will not be covered by warranty in the future. …
I am getting increasing frequency of cylinder misfire, so far cylinder 1 and 2, and the car goes to a limb mode and loose power. It happens during acceleration to a highway ramp. Engine lights and other many warning lights come on, the car goes into limb mode, I pull over and when I turn the engine off and turns back on the warning lights clear and the car drives normally until next time, to start all over again. I took it two Honda dealers at three occasions. Since the engine light goes off, and they cannot capture the issue, they are telling me there is nothing they can do. It seems to happen during a normal driving than sport mode. It is frustrating and dangerous situation. I thought I would report it, to save others from similar situation
