This is related to suspension...three issue I have observed 1. The tires on my Civic 2007 have uneven wear...I changed my tires about 2 years ago and could see the uneven wear on the old tired..that time I ignored it assuming it to be an alignment issue...however the new tires are also wearing out unevenly and that after after proper alignment. The last time I got tires rotated the mechanic suggested there is likely some faulty suspension. Now I firmly believe it. 2. I hear a pop/cluncking sound when going over bumps. 3. I hear a click/pop sound coming from the front wheels when turning.
Went to my local Honda dealer because of heavy vibration while driving. Dealership informed me that I needed to replace my rear control upper arm because my tires were cupping badly. I have already replaced tires yearly because of uneven wear. I called corporate Honda, since I am out of warranty they will not reimburse with parts and labor despite 2013 settlement regarding this matter. It is a safety issue regarding tire suspension and Honda is turning a blind eye..
Tl* the contact owns a 2007 Honda Civic. While driving at approximately 35 MPH, there was an abnormal noise coming from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the front struts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired twice, but the failure recurred. I financed a 2007 Honda Civic on July 30 2025, this car has a faulty fuel pump from Roseville car group. There is no check engine light on, this just appeared this afternoon Aug 2nd 2025.
Tire vibration started at 5,000 miles. Dealer rotated and balanced tires and said you are all set. Driving home on the highway noticed vibration was still present. Next visit took service for a ride and they said it sounded like bad rear wheel bearing that they did not stock. Left the car for two days and when I came pick the car up they said we changed the right front wheel bearing? I said I was told they were changing the rears? They said nope the right front was the problem. Driving at highway speed it was the same as before. Called the dealer and asked if anyone actually test drove the car after repair. Mechanic said the car was fine? Brought the car back again and took the service manager for a ride he said yes it sounds like rear wheel bearings. …
On Wednesday, June 11, 2008 I was driving from mar vista, ca to san leandro, ca with my 4 year old son and 20 year old sister in law. We were on the 580 w driving in the far left lane at 65mph at 11:30 am when we heard an explosion in the rear of the car. When we inspected the car, the right rear tire was blown through. The side walls were intact, but the whole top part of the tire was not connected to the side wall. My car is a 2007 Honda Civic coupe ex and it had about 8300 miles. I purchased the car in July 2007. The crash caused significant damage to the front left side of my car. The car is now at a body shop and is being repaired in san leandro, ca. We have the defective tire. After doing more research I found that Honda had issued a service bulletin about uneven or rapid tire wear. TSB 08-001 on February 8, 2008. …
Slow throttle response since purchase, door glass rattle since purchase, the third gear would give resistance, which is a known problem with the six speed transmission. I patched the problem by changing the transmission fluid and installing a shorter shifter yet this is not a permanent solution. Honda has refused to repair the actual problem with the third gear synchro and at one point stated that it was probably caused by my driving, the problem with the vehicle going into third gear is a known problem and there is a technical service bulletin that Honda corporate has released for the exact problem. …
