Elderly mother drives this car. She drives slow and knows very little about cars. I borrowed her car to find it vibrating excessively from the rear with loud tire noise from the rear as well. Found scalloped rear tires in poor, dangerous condition. Replaced tires thinking they were faulty tires. Problem recurred only several months later. Replaced tires again, different brand and had the rear suspension worked on per Honda service bulletin. Problem keeps happening over and over and we must keep replacing the tires. I'm tired of seeing my mom being taken advantage of and continuously spending money on problems that should not be happening. I'm scared this is going to cause someone to get hurt. If the tires blow out, my mother might lose control. …

On Wednesday, June 11, 2008 I was driving from mar vista, ca to san leandro, ca with my 4 year old son and 20 year old sister in law. We were on the 580 w driving in the far left lane at 65mph at 11:30 am when we heard an explosion in the rear of the car. The car began veering toward the right. I tried to pull over into the emergency lane, but the car keep veering toward the right and we hit the center divide. The car was perpendicular to the divide. We were in dublin, ca near the tassajara rd. Exit. When we inspected the car, the right rear tire was blown through. The side walls were intact, but the whole tread of the tire was not connected to the side wall. This also caused the right rear splash guard to detach from the car and the rear bumper was slightly detached. My car is a 2007 Honda Civic coupe ex and it had about 8300 miles. I purchased the car in July 2007. …

There is uneven wear on my tires which has caused large vibrations when driving on the highway and very dangerous handling in slippery conditions. I just replaced my tires, which the previous owner (I bought it from him in October 2014) stated were almost new at purchase time. The inner edge of each tire was worn down. I also brought the car in for alignment today and found that the rear camber is negative 2.5 degrees on both sides, but that camber is not adjustable. This camber issue, plus regular tire rotations, almost certainly caused the inner edge wear on each tire. Apparently this is a known issue with Honda civics of the 06-08 era (see 2008 service bulletin, attached), but Honda is no longer performing fixes, and the fix did not necessarily rectify the tire wear issue. …

Had a flat tire that would not hold air, so attempted to put on the spare tire that was purchased new with the vehicle (by me) at nalley Honda of union city, ga. It was the wrong size spare tire. The lug pattern would not fit. It was a 16" spare instead of the 15" that my car calls for. The dealership would not swap it out for the right size spare tire, even though it was the first time out of my trunk (2007 car, and 2007 date coded spare). Luckily, the flat happened in my driveway instead of my daughter being stranded on the interstate.

Went to my local Honda dealer because of heavy vibration while driving. Dealership informed me that I needed to replace my rear control upper arm because my tires were cupping badly. I have already replaced tires yearly because of uneven wear. I called corporate Honda, since I am out of warranty they will not reimburse with parts and labor despite 2013 settlement regarding this matter. It is a safety issue regarding tire suspension and Honda is turning a blind eye..

I was driving down the road carefully because I take this road almost everyday. This road has been damaged for a long time now and hasn't been fixed yet. All of a sudden my car hits a huge pot hole, it couldn't have been seen due to how dark this road is at night. Both wheels on the left side popped and my front windshield crack in the middle due to the hard impact.

I am constantly having to buy new tires for this car, like at least 2 tires a year. They wear down unevenly and in order to pass inspection I'm constantly having to rotate and buy new ones. I'm not made of money and tires are expensive. I'm a stay at home mom, so I'm not even out driving daily or going on long road trips.

I have a Honda Civic si, 2007 model, that I had a flat and replaced one tire. Tire dealership replaced tire at around 6000 miles, when going in to Honda dealership for maintenance (rotation tires, oil change) the shop foreman informed me that the tire was bad because my car was now pulling. When stating pulling, it was a major pull, not slight pull. I took car back to tire dealership and they refused to even drive my car, said it was normal to have it pull. Took car to another tire dealership and they replaced tire. Upon going to dealership again for maintenance, the new tire was rotated to front of car again and it was pulling again. Shop foreman insist it is the tire. I bring car back to tire dealership at which time he realizes that the tire is not the right tire. Orders the correct tire and installed it and the car still pulls. …

The crash caused significant damage to the front left side of my car. The car is now at a body shop and is being repaired in san leandro, ca. We have the defective tire.
