I am being targeted as a DRIVER since 2010 for driving programs that automatically adjust the weight needed to effectively press the brake and gas pedals of any vehicle. 4/8/2022 3:34 PM PST, such activities occurred when merging onto traffic on the 57 N freeway from Imperial Hwy on ramp. To confirm that such occurred and that it was not due to overwhelming the engine during driving in high heat conditions, e.g. 97 degrees. On past occasions, this has involved accelerating, although minimal, when I have pushed the gas pedal at E. Cameron Ave. and S. Pima Ave. cross walk, to cause embarrassment, harassment, reports, and use of my emergency brake because children were crossing following a crosswalk guard. This incident was reported during 2010-2012. Such activity was suspected beforehand but too difficult to conclude that such was the case w/o incidents like the one just aforementioned. …

My dad has died from injuries sustained from a car accident, he told me his car 2006 Honda Civic accelerated on its own! The car accelerated at high RPM when he just went to accelerate. To enter the road making a left, instead the car went so fast within seconds, he lost control and his Honda plowed threw a stop sign, then was finally stopped by a steel pole holding up a quick check sign! He sustained extensive chest injuries! 3 broken ribs, 2 dropped lungs, fractured sternum, fractured c4 and c7 spine injuries! He died due to a defect in the accerlaertion of the vehicle racing on its own! My dad has always kept up with recalls and has car logs and maintenance logs, etc. I hope other people never have to experience this tragic sudden death, due to a defect in manufacturer acceleration, or whatever equipment is responsible for this accident! It's a mfg defect! …
Xi have owned a 2006 Civic hybrid for the past year and a half. On several occasions I have noticed that a light application of the brake pedal can result in a sudden acceleration} rather than in braking. This happens intermittently, I would say approximately once a month. It seems like a malfunction in the computer system running the braking system. On one occasion last April this resulted in a minor accident. At the time I had only owned the car for a short interval and was surprised at this strange reaction of the car. Since that time this problem has recurred several times. I would like to ask if you have had other reports of this problem and whether you know about it. Since it is an intermittent effect it is no use taking the car to the dealership.
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 Honda Civic. While driving 70 MPH with the cruise control activated, the cruise control deactivated automatically twice. The contact reactivated the cruise control each time. Also, the air bag warning indicator illuminated and, soon after, the air bags deployed. There were no injuries. The contact lost control of the vehicle, but then regained control and pulled off the highway. The contact inspected the vehicle and found no visible damage other than a cracked windshield. The contact was able to drive the vehicle home. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failures. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 278,000.
Tl contact owns a 2006 Honda Civic hybrid. While driving 5 MPH out of the driveway, the vehicle struck a bump and it suddenly accelerated on its own. The contact lost control of the vehicle and it spun around. Both the brakes and emergency brake failed. The vehicle came to a stop when it struck a muddy embankment. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. There were no injuries. The current and failure mileages were 50,000.
Honda part#: 77900-sna-a01 (methode) -or- 77900-sna-a02 (furukawa) reel assy, cable. With the failure of this part, vehicle cruise control, radio controls and SRS air bags failed. The cable reel assembly is the component that makes the electrical connection between the function buttons and air bag on the steering wheel to the non-rotating steering column. The ribbon cable inside this mechanism was completely severed on the vehicle.
Dt: the contact stated while parking in a parking lot the accelerator pedal became stuck which caused an accident. The vehicle was towed to an auto shop, which was unable to duplicate the problem. There was NHTSA recall 05V509000 for this vehicle but the contact did not receive a recall letter prior to the accident. The manufacturer has been contacted. Update 1/11/2006 -
Received a phone call from granddaughter on her way home to pick me up. She stated she was not speeding and 2 or 3 minutes later her Honda Civic was involved in a high speed single vehicle crash which killed both driver and passenger.
